I think 'No One Needs To Know' just might be my favourite Shania song ever. So heart-achingly lovely. And how incredibly beautiful does Shania look here? Her dark looks and dimples, gah!
I was about 2 when my mom had this episode playing and I started singing (or garbling) along. Ofcourse I don't remember it my mom told me several years later. I love this lady. Also side note did anyone notice the temperate reading in the bottom right corner...107 degrees! Good lord lol.
@20matt09 It's Official! She's making a comeback this year 2012 with a new album and a 2 year residency show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas! She will alternate days with Elton John and Celine Dion!
This is a perfect example of how the media can turn fantastic artists and journalists into such cold-hearted cynics. This was the first season of Rosie's show and you can see how "green around the ears" she is, not being completely up to speed on the facts of Shania, ad-libbing a little and going off the cuff to make it more natural, intertwining her own personal stories into the interview. Fast forward 10 years later and for that matter 20 years later and Rosie becomes a self-conscious fanatical mouthpiece on the View. It's sad to see one of my favorite comediennes and talk show hosts growing up become so embittered about life. You can see how the conservative executives on these networks really beat the on air personalities down and try to make them conform over the years before they practically lose their minds. I wish Rosie the best, and hope better days are ahead for her because she's had a couple of rough years this past decade.
You referring to the rhythm player? Or Slide guitar? If you are referring to the guy playing the same Ovation guitar as Shania, it’s David Malachowski…Think he passed away.
During live performances an instrumental track can be played for certain parts in absence of a musician, in this case a harmonica player. Common practice.
