I’m not the court reporter. She works for the judge. Attorneys could bring it up to the judge, judge to court reporter. It’s hard to find another court reporter on the spot. I have short nails, with rubber pads on the keys to cut down on noise and provide comfort. Use your normal chain of command for your comments. Maybe media to attorneys or judge. There could be another reporter for other days. She may not realize we all don’t make that much noise. I could hear it loudly . 👩🏼💻‼️
It's clear that the prosecution has strong evidence and a robust case against Shanna!! And the defense isn't fooling us by their bombastic style and forceful questioning of witnesses. They have an aggressive tone with little substance and bad facts and that will not culminate in them winning at Trial. Tone is no substitute for substance!! It's far more than presentation and rhetoric, though I will say they've got a lot of energy! Given the disparity between the strength of the prosecution's evidence and the defense's bombastic but seemingly unsubstantial tactics, the defense is unlikely to succeed in convincing the jury of Shanna's innocence, in my opinion. #JusticeforJaredB 🙏
Put another way why is the family paying this guy millions of dollars for a life without parole sentence, but pleading guilty and turning on Mario may get her a 40 year sentence, a gleamed of hope, maybe to late now.

I think they really think if they hire the supposedly best defense attorney money can buy, that they can buy Shanna's way out of jail/prison/dp?? And make no mistake, it appears that prosecutors believe that Shanna was THE mastermind behind Jared's murder!! And as such, Shanna will not be offered a plea deal to flip on Mario, or if she admits the truth. They have said (Fourth Judicial District Attorneys Office Prosecution in Florida) has said, Shanna will not be offered a plea deal!! Although they said Mario would not be offered a plea deal, I have heard of number of legal pundits say that they would give Mario a plea deal to flip on Shanna - despite what State Attorney Melissa Nelson saying he wouldn't get a plea deal. Mario is between a rock and a hard place, and so is Shanna, in my opinion, with the strong evidence against each of them individually and both of them collectively!!

Baez already tried to explain her texts about k!lling away and it didn't work, it fell flat!! The prosecution countered that bologna and said Shanna did not delete the texts about killing over the prescription costing too much or k!lling her kids, etc... But she *did delete* the texts about k!lling Jared!! And ultimately her kids and the others she flippantly or facetiously mentioned k!lling, they are still alive. However Jared is not still alive! The prosecution did a good job of expressing that Shanna may have flippantly said that about others, however with Jared - she was serious!! Baez trying to explain that away did *not* work!! And it won't work in front of a jury either. But it's the best he's got because Shanna didn't give him anything to work with. All he has are bad facts about his client to work with!! In the end, it's usually a defendant's *own words used against them* that gets them convicted!! And that appears to be exactly the way Shanna is going to go down too?!!
This judge lacks confidence and experience. Seems like Shanna paid a crooked doctor to sign a paper stating her son got heart issues and altitude affects him in order to keep the kids out of Florida. She put the guy 6 feet under but wants her freedom.. Unbelievable.
Judge Kite is actually a very good Judge!! She is known as a "black widow" by the now inmates whose cases she has adjudicated. She was a prosecutor for 17 years before she became a Judge! She knows her stuff. She is very thorough. And she has to be fair to both the prosecution and defense in court proceedings.
@@07CS Yes, if you do a google search on her, Judge London Kite, you will see she was a prosecutor for the Fourth Judicial Circuit State Attorneys Office in Duval County, Florida for 17 years. And she was only the 3rd African-American woman named to the position. I think by black widow they meant that she handed them harsh sentences for their crimes?! That is a nickname that I believe was given in reference to her by the defendants whose cases she adjudicated and they landed in prison. So, if someone is convicted it doesn't sound like she goes lightly on them?! However we know in Shanna's case, if she is convicted then she is facing the death penalty, which is said to be the harshest of punishments.
Oh, and LB's heart issues are real. Shanna may lie about other things, but LB's heart issues is not one of them. And Florida is low altitude, that was purportedly why they decided to move to Florida when she was still married to Jared. So she could have stayed in Florida, but she chose to move to Washington.

@@nicolehaw1088I read the book he wrote about Casey’s case. I don’t see how he will be able to do the same here as he did in that case so I have high hopes that Jared will get justice. It took a seemingly long time for the state to arrest Shanna. I believe they were doing their due diligence to be sure they had all they needed for a conviction before making the arrest. In this hearing, Jose argued that they didn’t need to leak things to the media to watch their moves but in his book he said Casey was arrested too quickly and they should have watched her moves. He knew Shanna wouldn’t be granted bond but this is a tactic for a “sneak peek” into evidence and witness testimonies. It gets them on record so people can’t change their stories later. Based on what I see here, I’m confident that Jared will get justice when the trial comes.
I have to agree with the comment about the judge not being confident and experienced, she comes across as a bit of an amateur. Wish Judge Jennifer Dorow from Wisconsin was handling this case- she exudes and commands confidence and respect.

Notice, she didn't let Mario & Shanna's Defense teams throw out the Fourth Judicial Circuit Prosecutors Office, or Prosecutor Stifler. Nor did she let Shanna's Defense throw out the Indictment against Shanna. But she gave Shanna and Mario their due process. She gave them Hearings, and in those Hearings she carefully listened to both sides. She considered case law precedent and she weighed things out. She gave a written ruling a week or two later. She is a good judge, she is reasonable. And I think her rulings have been good, so far!!

This is pre-trial hearing, so no jury. Obviously, the allegations are alleged at this point. But since I'm not an attorney or a juror, yes, she 100% killed her ex-husband. Or at least plotted to and hired the hitman.
He’s the best… I watched a trial about an Ohio doctor being charged with manslaughter for a hospital coverup scheme!he represented the doc won the case it was a big accomplishment for him and his team best trial I’ve watched so far

Maybe she feels a little intimidated by the notoriety of Baez? If so, I think a good judge could still be good. Or maybe it seems like she’s coming across that way to some because she wants to ensure she does everything according to protocol because she knows this case is high publicity?

There's a difference between stating " i want to kill him" which can be seen as just venting vs "i want to kill him" , "do you know someone who'd do it", "how about x,y,z he'd probably do it", "how could we do it" The former could be excused as venting out frustration the latter is conspiracy!
