This was a great TV movie - and it's DEFINITELY Shannen singing! She was offered a recording deal because of this movie but shied away from music, as she talked about on her podcast this year. RIP to a wonderful actress/talent/human being!

I would like to reach out to her and talk to her about being a breast cancer survivor as I used to lead these workshops and counseling sessions/ meetings on Wednesday nights that really inspired and helped fellow cancer patients!!!
Lol I can clearly hear it's NOT her voice. She's acting. The film hired a singer whose voice they'd though Shannen would sound like if it was her actually singing. The magic of Hollywood
@@EagleTastic Wasn't she credited in the movie as having done her own singing? Seems like an odd thing to do if she didn't (and one I'm not sure SAG would co-sign).
When I watched through the movie again if you watch through the end credits it says Shannen was the one who sang and performed those songs herself Don’t get caught up in the rumors about her cause the rumors about her are not true She is very strong and isn’t afraid to give 100 percent to a role and doesn’t hold back I admire that about her cause it shows how much confidence she has in herself
That's not lip syncing,that's LIVE singing... You can hear the discordant notes in their voices and the drums are too loud and clear to be on a recording....

Maybe you're right. I cahnged the title and took put lip syncing from the description. I filmed this in person and can tell you she was lip sysncing to a playback track which you can clearly see in these scenes. Perhaps Shannen did record her own voice on some of the tracks used in the film. I don't know.
Shannen's voice is not believable as a lead. Backup, yes. Jen's voice is excellent, & believeable as a lead. So I would have kept them, but swapped the roles. But together they sound amazing, like Mary's Danish! ❤❤❤
