Im english and wife is Irish, born in Hayestown county wexford in the 40's and she can still do the irish dance, Its good to see people, dancers and audience alike enjoying themselves, not something you see much of in the days of troubled times, thank you everyone, much enjoyed...Mike

OMG I sat and cried through this video, it was so amazing it brought me to tears! Y'all are AMAZING!! Now I have to clear up my tears and hit rewind and watch it again!! And this is why boys should learn to dance! You never know when you might run across a flash mob!!!

My Great Grandpa Bill Thomas was from Dublin and he would have loved that! Just wished they'd have kept the camera a wee bit stiller so I could've seen more of the steps!!!

I’ve been to airports all over the world. This airport has some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I live in the USA. I absolutely enjoyed both of my trips to Ireland and hope to someday make a 3rd trip. Wish I could have seen this live. Maybe next trip haha.

What attracts me to this is that it LOOKS spontaneous, that they're free lancing & just joined in the dancing, though I DO have my doubts! In any case it's well co-ordinated & very entertaining! There should be much more of this! EXCELLENT!

Fifty years ago, my high school choir stopped at Shannon Airport for a brief layover while on our way to Brussels. Such nice people. I engaged people in conversation just to hear them speak. The upper Midwest English I hear every day sounds pretty ordinary day after day. Bravo Ireland!

Love it! The best part of a flashmob like this is the ordinary looking people who take part: I feel as though I could be there with them, dancing with a big smile on my face.

Not a bad wee flashmob but i think they should have performed this in the protestant part of belfast as petrol bombs and bricks being thrown at the dancers would have made the setting a bit more interesting!

Everyone should visit Ireland at least once in there lives. .you won't regret it. ...

They were all over the place, out of sync, a bit here , a bit there, choreography wasnt very good. but good effort. this must have been recorded on a wet Monday morning .It was very messy. I am sure it was entertaining on the day, I would give it more respect if they were part of a local community centre doing it, but from academy of of music and dance here in Ireland, something we pride ourselves on,, this was not good,, sorry.

All grand having the craic but as someone who has worked there before this depresses and angers me though no fault of the performers. This airport got an extension and an upgrade which cost millions and this is what they have to show for it??? A big empty hall which should be jam packed with passengers. It's a disgrace that the airport has been neglected and overlooked. It's a terrific location serving the west coast with a motor way practicality to the very door. SHAME ON EVERYONE who let this happen(the neglect) especially local politicians. It's all about Dublin. I'm a proud Irishman and love Irish music and tradition but there's no pride in this.

The Irish....coming to the States in the 1830s were regarded lower than the Negroes. Yet they persevered and helped build the USA with the Negroes. 2 different cultures yet they saw the potential for a better life. I was a US soldier traveling back to the States in 1968 and had the privilege of stopping in Shannon to refuel...while there I wanted a shillelagh for my dad. I picked one out and when ready to pay the counter woman said you have a fine walking stick there. I said isn’t that a shillelagh? She replied a shillelagh is much shorter and is known as a peace maker.

By the left Irish girls are pretty. Lovely to see a bit joy spreading and there’s nothing quite like music and dance to do that!

I was so excited by this at first but then began to rhink of all the poor souls out on the tarmac being transported to all kinds of sinister destinations and frankly, it's left a taste of something very very unsavoury in my mouth :(

For me the joy of watching a flash mob is seeing it slowly grow, so for the camera to keep cutting away to those watching and then back to find more dancers suddenly there was rather disappointing.

Nice idea, but this floor takes a lot of the beauty of the irish tepdance. Like this it is only a nice coreography, but without the tabbing, there is something essential missing.
