I am very happy for Shannon to be on ESPN with First Take but those 7 years at FS1 were amazing. There will never be another show like Skip and Shannon on Undisputed.

I honestly miss Shannon on Undisputed. It isn't the same without him. I think it's sad but speaks to the professionalism Shannon has to not talk bad about Skip. I think Skip was ungrateful for the work Shannon put in and put up with him for 7 years. After Skip disrespected him everyone knew it was the end.

This is all kind of ironic. Stephen A had a similar relationship with Max Kellerman and he did the same thing Skip did. SAS and Skip are one in the same. The only difference is that SAS presents himself as a better dude.

Skip was treating this like a competition Shannon was treating it like a partnership They werent on the same page from the jump but they did a good job of masking it for 6 years

It's honestly sad to hear that Skip and Shannon didn't develop a relationship that was outside of work. Thry certainly masked it well because of the camaraderie they had 95% of the time. Its weird to think that they were just like most of us who punch in and out of work without being all that tight with our coworkers.

It actually surprises me that they didn't have any kind of relationship outside of work. They seemed to have so much chemistry. I kind of assumed that they would occasionally hang out outside of work and what not.

One small thing I noticed was when Shannon named all the people that worked behind the scenes at FS1 and teared up about the finality of leaving people he described as his family, the first thing Stephen A says is well you said nothing about Skip. There was real human vulnerability there and it seemed like he was just waiting for Shannon to say something negative about Skip. Maybe im overthinking though.

Stephen A pulled what Kobe Byrant would do. Kobe said he found OKC a threat because of Russ, James, KD and Segie. He admitted he told russ you don't have to pass the ball to them. He helped break them up. Stephen A did the same thing. Pull up old interviews during the time Skip and Shannon was having issues. Stephen A during interviews would say he reached out to skip to see if he is ok and to speak with him. Skip never got back to him. Stephen A saw he couldn't get skip so then reached out to Shannon and Shannon got back to them. Prior to this look it up, Stephen A wanted to hook back up with Skip; they were talking about it and then talks ended and Skip re-upped his contract with FS1. I think Stephen A wanted one of them and he was able to get shannon. He is using Shannon. All this we are new best friends that go to games and all that shit is only going to last for so long.

I think the problem with Shannon and skip , it became an issue of skip being just a jerk to Shannon. I can tell Shannon seems like a very good guy and skip seems like the type person that would give you a chance and like you for many years but eventually will get tired of being around you and start to diss you. The situation with max and Stephan A was that max was a a very chill guy and who didn’t like confrontations and he was very educated and I think max was just not very loud guy and he seems very calm. The other issue was that a lot of black athletes respected max more than than Stephen A. I can tell it rubbed Stephen A the wrong way.
