At 3:30, the point Shannon makes about not cutting Katt off because he might lose his train of thought is excellent. It is also why so many of the system journalists *do* cut interviewees off. They are trained to guide discussion away from those the system protects. If they don't those who hire them won't keep them. That is why Katt went on Club Shay Shay, precisely because Shannon would let him say his piece and not run interference for the system. It is also why so many people watched the interview, because of Shannon's approach to letting Katt speak, they got real content speaking to the real things we all suspect but never are said in the mainstream. It is also why, when system drones like Steve A are rallied to protect the system, they do so trying to tell Shannon that he should not sell himself short and act more like he _is_ a journalist. They are not-so-subtly telling him he should have guided the discussion so Katt couldn't speak his truth. Some people sell out and some don't and the ones that don't are a threat to the system and those that own the system use the ones they own to try to discredit them any way they can.
