Just wanted to acknowledge the opportunity given to Shannon, and then given to Katt to allow truth to be heard. I think Gil downplayed the magnitude of this interview. This interview was epic! Katt has always been a favorite of mine and Steve in later years. Also, what I feel Gil missed wasn't that Katt was mad at these guys for taking a crack at an opportunity he turned down and amplifying the success of it--that's no it at all. He was disappointed at the trade! What was it they sacrificed for this "opportunity". What moral/ethical thing were they willing to exchange for their successes? That's the point. Well done, Mr. Sharpe.

Kev did say on the breakfast club that Kat was the guy and he had opportunities and was the guy before him, but said he squandered it because of drugs. Gil is silly. Nothing Katt Williams said even hints at jealousy or envy. The man STOOD on his principles and has NO regrets about roles he didn’t receive, etc. The man barely ever does any interviews and never chases clout. He simply finally responded to a bunch of grown men who have continued to make remarks and statements about him over the years and finally said enough is enough. My kings of comedy, still living, are Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Katt Williams.

I think the issue is assuming everyone has the same “integrity/morales” as Katt. Not everyone thinks the same as Katt and that’s fine, doing something like wearing a dress to Katt might be a big deal and that’s fine which is why he didn’t take said role but that might not be a big deal for others. I don’t see why they have to feel bad about accepting the role if that act doesn’t bother them the same way it does Katt. Now if they said it did behind closed doors, and they were “forced” to do the role then maybe that’s another thing but we don’t know any of these people or how they think

Idk what gil is talking about, Katt was never drunk. To this day they still try to make it seem like hes crazy. He was never mad or jealous of Kevin hart. why would Katt be mad at Kevin for “taking his spot”? Katt never sold out like most of these celebrities and still got just as much money. Gil has it wrong. Katts not jealous of the others taking certain roles, he was speaking on the lies they told INVOLVING HIM. He is absolutely right to call them out on it, Rickey, Cedric, Martin, etc. I would say Kevin hasn’t done anything to Katt that’s the only hater part I see in the interview.
