But thats it. It didn't feel like the other levels were there was a combination of platforming, transformations and fighting. This level skips the platforming an only does the other two. However, this level was still a challenge, which is required in final stages. (yes there was a bit of platforming, but not much compared to other levels)
To be fair once you get the harpy transformation, jump-platforming becomes completely unnecessary. This level required alot of flight-control with the harpy and alot of wall-jumping with the monkey, which I still consider platforming.
This sounds so tragically epic...like the end of the world dawns near and all fate rests in your hands. Love it! 1:32 is badass and so are the violins(?)
Overall, I loved this game, but this level was pretty weak, it just felt like an easier version of Pirate Master's castle, and it made use of less of your powers than that one did.
I agree with you, but enjoy the music, admit it, this is great ... it must be one of those few cases in which in a game I liked the music in its entirety, enjoy each episode some sad, others funny and others full of action, the final boss is not so difficult but if the confrontation is epic.
Hardcore mode is just as easy when you have the necklace. I started my first 1/2 Genie Hero playthrough on hardcore mode and only the first two levels are hard because almost everything 1- or 2-shots you. When you get the bikini armor and find more hearts, it becomes pretty easy.
Ok, i know its been a long time but for all the ppl that were forced to do flappy bird on that part (myself included) ill say this: theres a way easier way. If you just use the monkey dance, cling to the walls nearby you (which might require skill with the monkey) and move to the other walls with the monkey bullet upgrade, bam, you pass that part easily.
i remember not knowing what to do in the 2 spike thing with risky and kept getting hit on the spikes because i used the cannon thing instead of the hat. i felt so stupid after i remembered i could use the hat.
