I did. I first saw the game in a magazine while I was at work. The thing that caught my eye was the middle eastern theme, (at that time I kinda had a fancy for eastern gals) so this was definitely the best purchase I ever made. That was what, 2002? wow!

I wanted to but i never got the chance back then. I have it on the 3ds eshop and i love it!

I had a copy, bought it way back in 2007 for a mere $3 at GameStop.

@@whisperstar13 Shantae got into trouble with the Sultana that was travelling because she stopped Ammo Baron's completely legal razing of Scuttle Town. There was also the thing about the librarian that covered for her. Regardless, the introduction of the palace and such and the papers still being with the Sultana left an expectation that we were going to see the Sultana and confront what Shantae was being accused of, as soon as the Sultana actually came home as the librarian would no longer be able to cover for her after that. But, there's no mention of those events in the slightest in Half-Genie Hero, there's no royal palace or Sultana or librarian at all. This despite the librarian hinting at a bond of sorts involving himself and Shantae when she was younger. Sure, they acknowledge in Half-Genie Hero that the events of Pirate's Curse happened, but... yeah. Guess it all just went away when Shantae granted Mayor Scuttlebutt's wish. Kinda cheap, doing it like that, though. Oh, well.

Nonono. It wasn't a secret room, IT WAS A WHOLE DUNGEON. (second one. With the spider boss)

@@dabean1502 yes and no. Yes this song was remixed in Pirate's Curse, but there's also a secret room in the very first dungeon that uses this exact music.

I had noticed before. I'd just always assumed that was a coding mistake, that it was probably meant to be the second labyrinth theme the whole time, which would make sense, as that would have two whole labyrinths using this (better, in my opinion) theme, and two whole labyrinths using the other theme.
