Aga bu şarkının çıktığı yıla geri dönemiyor muyuz??? İnternet kafelerde 50 kuruşluk açtırdığımız, yoksul olup mutlu olduğumuz, paylaşmanın kıymetini bildiğimiz o güzel yıllara dönemiyor muyuz???
@@Chimmerian72 How the song is gypsy? This is a purely Balkan rhythm. Find something similar in traditional music of India's tribes and we can have a reasonable discussion.
Im German and last week i was in Istanbul. In the Club Araf I heared this song...Amazing... Everybody danced to this song... Now I discovered hes from Germany... Big Love to Istanbul and its people
I'm Turkish and 15 years after it's release I can say that ever since the radios stopped playing this song, nothing went well in the world. I want to go back to the 2010's 😢
Ülkemiz ile gurur duyduğumuz yıllardı. 1 lira ile mutlu olduğumuz yıllardı. Gerçekten bize bir gençlik borçlusunuz. Helallik istiyorsunuzya: HAKKIM HARAM ZEHİR ZIKKIM OLSUN SİZLERE!!!!
Istanbul is such a great city and it looks great in this video. Napoleon once said "if the whole world was single country Istanbul would have been it's capital"
Terrible music? We are the most popular part of Europe who love to celebrate. Come to Greek, Albanian or Serbian wending and see who are best merrymaker of Europe. England are so boring and idiotic country.
Wierd. Than you are from Croatia. There peple use to listen something more ''European''. Maybe you do not listen Shantel, he do not often sing in ex-Yugoslavia, but you surely heard of this guy-Goran Bregovic. A master of Balkan music.
Stefan Hantel, better known by his stage name Shantel (born January 1, 1968), is a German DJ and producer. He is known for his work with gypsy brass orchestras, DJing and remixing traditional Balkan music with electronic beats.Hantel is of Bukovina German descent. His grandparents on the maternal side were from the Romanian part of Bukovina.Shantel began his DJ career in Frankfurt, Germany, and was inspired by the audience reaction to gypsy brass bands such as Fanfare Ciocărlia and trumpeter Boban Marković to infuse electronically tweaked Balkan gypsy music into his DJ set. Shantel released two compilations of his popular DJ night, Bucovina Club, on his own Essay label, which won the Club Global award in the 2006 BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music. He was one of several DJs to remix recordings of Taraf de Haïdouks and Kočani Orkestar on the Electric Gypsyland compilations from Belgium's Crammed Discs label, and released his next album on that label. He gained popularity in Turkey after recording the clip of 'Disko Partizani' in Istanbul.[2] Shantel's 2007 album Disko Partizani departed somewhat from the techno sound of Bucovina Club, concentrating more on the music's Balkan roots.
IDK why everybody is argueing about whose music it is......This is straight Balkan music and belongs to all the nations on the Balkans-Serbia,Bulgaria,Romania,Greece,Macedonia,Bosna and Turkey(from the boarder with Bulgaria to Instanbul). We,the Balkans are the strogest people in Europe. Oh and also great song :)
Agreed!!!!! Now all you frownrs and grumpy gusses, parti parti partizani!!!!!!! Wan dance? Love shantel! Letsmake him president of the globe an smile the frowns offthefreekin planet!!!!! Ed ayed ts no Nathan , nate my son in law, now parti parti partizani!!!!!!! ;) :) en SMILE A WHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No for real the strongest? That's very arguable! You're definitely the poorest and that's not the best fact... But building up solar panels to gain electricity and caused by this money is not under your consideration... screw you or better your governments... If In Syria the civil war ends they will do it for less and maybe in a few years will be richer and also more developed than you are... But we are talking under a good song so whatever...
he is Romanian born in Germany. not Turkish but his one the favorite country is Turkey because he spents so much time in Istanbul, Izmir, Bodrum and Antalya etc.. if he makes 10 concerts in a year 5 of them are in Turkey. you can see his schedule on his official side. his albums half songs are also Turkish. we accepted him like one of us in Turkey :) cheers ;)
Melody from Balkan turkish song "sabahlara dayanamam Osman Aga yalancısın inanamam Osman aga-İ cant stand to mornigs mrs osman, you are a lie mrs osman "
I listened to this beautiful song when I was on holiday in Olympos, in Turkey, for the first time. It was mixed by a dj in a disco, but it seems the looked like as the Italian revolutionary song for me. Amazing and nice...I love Turkey!!!

I really love this song and this is the first time i see the clip! I lived in Istanbul for a while and i love seeing those colourfull old streets back and the tram on Taksim!!! I walked there just a few weeks ago... But can't help wondering why they made the clip in Turkey...
4:13 Yes, my country was beautiful, but if you come now, this country has no taste because the economy is disgrace, the ignorant people have increased and our president is sinking the people instead of being the voice of the people, the country is slowly sinking
Shantel's origin is Bucovina, Romania. In this video they sing Romanian, English and the female vocals are gypsie-style. The video is filmed in Turkey. Shantel himself now lives in Germany. There are many Turkish people in Germany and perhaps that influenced him to making the video in Turkey. Bucovina was Romanian but nowadays there is north Bucovina in Ukraine and south Bucovina in Romania. Did Ukraine get sanctions like the Russians do now though? Hmm.
+TraianCovers Shantel may have roots from Romania, but the song sounds more Serbian/Greek/Bulgarian than Romanian. He was definitely influenced by the Balkans for this track.

***** No, it's still wrong. It's more like two Bucovinians moving to Germany, having a daughter born and raised in Germany, who then marries a german and gets a child, born and raised in Germany. Which makes him more German than Bucovinian. He has roots in Bucovinia, yeah. But if we focus on what was and not on what is, the whole integration thing will never work.
All I see is two people attributing the work of one person to an entire nation; the same kind of nonsense people do when they think they won the FIFA world cup without kicking a single ball in the event. Stefan is, indeed, a german name, while the romanian version is actually Ştefan, both with roots in greek, and I believe they are pronounced the same way. Talking about granparents, Bukovina was populated by Bukovina Germans, which were of german descent; the name of the region is Polish; and it was under Austrian rule for more than 200 years. Since you are romanian, you might also know that a part of Bukovina is in Ukraine, therefore, his name could and must be Stepan according to your logic, but your logic is like... te rog, taci. As for the notion of discovery I agree; an awkwardly patronizing mindset of western culture to feel like doing archeology whenever they do anything easternish. I apologize for my pedantry, half of what I said I simply googled it. I just wanted to point out that the entire dispute here orbits an illusion.
Perfect song, nice video, excellant city. I live in and love the istanbul city. Days, nights, dances, musics, sea... Everythings perfect, like this song. Thanks body
