Yes they are! And it a shame they dont have the talent out there to make these kind of martial arts movies anymore. We'll never see these type of movies ever again
Best move when dude did a handstand on the white haired dudes shoulders then dropped down and hit him 20 times before he pushed off him...i remember doing that in my last fight...lol!
The choreography the speed the athleticism the strength and power of these guys on or off screen is too much there isn’t a word for it !!!! and don’t forget the endurance each scene or cut retakes after retakes , and back then not as much help as modern filming tech , so it was pure talent and depth knowledge of the arts, they were the masters of martial arts in real life and film , old skool kung fu will always be kings ☺️
That an old School Movie. You can tell bu the fuzzy/blurry look it's probably from the 70s...Well Before HD. An anotha note...That was 1 FURIOUS BATTLE ! Praying Mantis vs. Southern Eagles Claw & Tiger/Crane Styles combined with the excellent acrobatics made it all very entertaining!👏🏾👍🏾👌🏾
Because if you won a match like that, all you’d prove is that you can beat the other guy right now, when you are both past your prime. Unless you’re still vital enough to still run things physically, you don’t have much to gain from that. But if you’ve accepted that you’ve gotten older, and that your physical abilities are less than they were in your prime, then your focus isn’t on being the toughest guy around, it’s on your style, your contributions to the art, and the mark you leave on the martial arts world. Better to have your student beat your nemesis’ protégé, because that demonstrates the superiority of your style, your skill as a teacher, your eye for potential in picking a student, and it ensures that your style will have a strong master to carry it on after you go. Also, old = smart. If your student loses, you can train up a new one. If you take on your rival school yourself, then failure means the death of your style. That’s why even the evil old masters prefer to let their schools and their students do the dirty work.
Now I've seen a lot of kung fu, but this was a pure ass whopping scene. If it wasn't for that pole the old man would have killed both of them. very good scene
I guess Lee Strasberg School of Acting never opened a school in China cuz no one seems to he able to act. No one went to directors school or choreographer school either.
Li I Min is not all too smart after all. 1.) He should had look at that document in the coffin first. 2.) He didn't even look at the document he took from Hwa Ling before hand it off to Chang Yi. 3.) Why didn't he used his weapon to fight Chang Yi when he was no match for him? He did use it when he was losing to Wang Tao earlier.
Hell 2 the No💪👍🙏. !! He got a spear to the back and still had enough consciousness 2 push it into the other guy bad guy 😈$$ that's woW 🙌😱😂😰. That was powerful
