I know, right? Hey, did you get the trekpak dividers for the inside? I love those. be sure to post your setup. I wanna see how you rig yours out! Thanks for watching.
Yeah, I love showing on set all rigged up and ready to go. I used to use a giant pelican but it was a nightmare. So glad I moved to this type of bag. I was about to buy the Shape (great product) but found a Tenba at 50% off.
Been looking for something like this that is a little more useful than the Pelican 1615 case that I've been lugging around. That thing is just way too big. But anything else wont hold an assembled rig. This definitely fits the bill.
yeah man, I love this bag! Thanks for watching. Feel free to let me know if you have something you'd like another video on. Love to help, have fun with your new gear!
It’s been a while, but I think I got 2 of the extra divider kits for the 1510 pelican. They are only like $25 each. If you want to be safe, the whole 1510 kit is what I started with.
Does your front magnetic lid close properly? Also, are your front and back interiors wall inserts different sizes? Asking because I'm not sure if I got a defective bag. Thanks.
If everything is put in correctly, the magnetic flap works perfectly. I would play with those interior walls until they feel right. The Velcro is so strong, I found it hard to get them in the right spot.
How many dividers are you using in this video? I see on the comments you would recommend the 1510 kit, but I didn't know if the kit would fit and still hold my rig? What do you think?
It’s hard to be specific because I pulled from what I had. I bought the 1510 kit and used it in my 1510, then I had left over after using it. I had the idea to put the left overs in the shape bag, and then ordered a couple of the extra kits. I think if you are ordering just for this, the 1510 kit would be more than enough.
Gotte be honest, just got mine and it doesn't come with sides to make it rigid. Maybe mine was missing but it looks like yours doesn't have any as well. This make the overall bag very flimsy. That said, I've had tons of bags over the years and for the price it's not bad. Just isn't something I would trust to house my RED camera in at all.
That sounds strange. I would double check under the bottom support and around the bag. Mine had all 4 sides for the interior. Maybe they are doubled up or something. If not, I would definitely check with Shape. I'm a big guy, and I'm pretty sure I could sit on this bag if I wanted to (not gonna do it though) Thanks for the input. Are there other bags you would recommend?
