Yeah it's wild! Funny thing is that I started this project more than a year ago, and then freelance projects got in the way 👀

I have two copies of the tamper - one in front, one behind. Right before it needs to go behind something, I turn the opacity for the front one to 0% and the back one to 100%. It can be animated manually, but I have linked the opacity of the two layers to a "Checkbox Control" on a "Control Layer" with the following expression for the front tamper: if(thisComp.layer("Control Layer").effect("Checkbox Control") == 1){ 0;} else {100; } And the opposite for the back tamper: if(thisComp.layer("Control Layer").effect("Checkbox Control") == 1){ 100;} else {0; } Sometimes I just like to automate certain things 🙌
