Nice. I KF'd the ellipse path size to increase over time and to rotate 360 deg. Starts off as small circles, ends as one big circle. Then used as a track matte to reveal an image.

Thanks for the tip! Struggling with a straight line shape, though, because the anchor point seems to be off center when set to 0,0 on all transform properties (path, repeater and layer). Any tips with that?

Type in 360/ and then pickwhip the value of the Copies. Once you do that, it will type in an expression for you. But pickwhipping the Copies value will do what you need.
