Ashley is a diva, in the good sense of the word. She knows she's beautiful and all while Nathan is this cute, shy kid on the block. The pairing is definitely amusing, haha.
What i like is that they are not doing something very difficult but yet your eyes are drawn to them. You are not thinking wow this is amazing it is so difficult, instead you are just enjoying watching them dance on ice.
Nathan and Ashley should have done this alone, there were too many skaters out there. I wasn't expecting Papadakis and Cizeron but Nathan and Ashley would have been 🔥🔥🔥
I'd love to see that too. I love this though. They should do a second version, just a rock/punk pas de deux for Wagner and Chen. And keep doing this too! SUCH elegant and sassy choreography, really impressive
I’m so pleasantly surprised by Nathan and Ashley. I love both of them so much, and they both rose to this challenge. But also @ Stars on Ice, here’s a thought: instead of looking through the cast and asking who out of the singles skaters would be willing to pair up for an ice dance/partner number since you can’t really have the ShibSibs in this, how about you have the Olympic Pair team on tour?? That would be a GREAT idea especially for diversity of numbers, as well as the Kneirim’s great chemistry.
I respect your opinion but for all of us who are Nathan fans, is very thrilling to watch him in pairs, because he dances amazingly, with much style, and dancing so sweetly with Ashley, makes us we all the girls who are his fans feel as If we were here dancing like a floating cloud with this gorgeous prince!
I'm going to be blunt here, pairing Nathan and Ashley together was a mistake. They're great on their own, but they have no chemistry together. The age gap is to big, they're very awkward and you can tell by the way they dance that they are clearly individual skaters.
exactly what I thought!! like they're great as solo skaters, no doubt about that, but here they just look so awkward compared to the other couples and no chemistry. Like the way Nathan was expressing the moves was just so stiff and looked so forced but the second they separated he was like back to normal. Nathan is definitely better as an individual skaters or needs more practice with pairing if he would like to do that in the future.
nguyet t I feel like he would have been better if it was Karen. Since they're closer in age, I think it could have look less awkward (because he and Karen are closer in age, than Ashley and he), and could have looked more natural. Or they could have gotten the married pair skaters to do it.
