Thats great! I am using my jumper cables here to ground my VFD. My best guess is that the grounding wire that is in the VFD cable is gathering a bit of voltage because its proximity to the VFD drive phases. This makes the entire VFD outer housing throw up a bunch of EMI making the shapeoko reset. To fix this temporarily I have attached the spindle outer sheathing to the grounded electrical box that I plug into. With my jumper cables because they are decently beefy. A video coming soon will be me grounding the SO3 in a cleaner way.
