Sandy is a true master of his craft of knife making. His attention to detail is so precise and unbelievable, I am so honoured and privileged to have the rare opportunity to own such a knife, it's a work of art. Thank you so much. Your knives are stunning. 🙂
I would love to have the tools and space to do this stuff. I live in an apartment and have a beltsander and drill press that I can use outside . I make simple puukkos and scandi bushcraft projects using blanks. It's fun bringing a handle to life , it changes everything when you can make a handle like ya want. These knives are beautiful, I'll never own one but I totally understand why they are hard to get. There is alot of work pit into a basic hobby knife let alone the full real deal. Respect 🙏
Thanks for your videos mate, and thanks for your dedication. I am 63 and just started getting into bush craft and camping. I am going to make my own bush craft knife from a saw blade and your videos are priceless.
Good to see you Sandy. Awesome video, never gets old watching you make a knife. Sorry I’ve been away dealing with some health problems. Getting hit hard. I’m trying to keep up my positive attitude, it’s so important. You gave some terrific tips. Thanks for sharing. Tony.
Categorically food will be main culprit. Avoid seed oils, sugar, processed food, refined carbs etc. A highly carnivorous diet solves a huge amount of ailments not least auto immune/inflammation issues. I developed pain in my elbows post first round of Covid in 2020 and it lasted 8 months of barely being able to lift things. On top of this I have Ulcerative Colitis for years a highly inflammatory condition. Keeping the above foods out of my diet and being highly carnivorous, raw dairy (butter and milk), eggs, fruit and nuts not only resolved the issues but also lowered my cholesterol!
Be careful of fruit. It has fructose which is only processed via your liver. That can lead to insulin resistance within the liver which leads to T2D and cause non alcoholic fatty liver disease. Botanists created most of the fruits we have today. Fatty meat on the other hand is non inflammatory, nutrient dense ancestral appropriate. 😎💪
I'm 64, been vegetarian for 40 years. I climb, play guitar, do pull-ups n pushups most days. My joints and health are fine. Aside from the animal welfare ethical issues, meat consumption is unhealthy and also responsible for environmental devastation.
It is so therapeutic watching you work on your craft out in your shop Sandy. Your creations are absolutely stunning. They are so high quality that they should be around for generations to come. You certainly should be proud of your accomplishments. Thanks again for letting us spend some time with you out in the shop. See you on the next one.

Thank you for sharing your shop video. I have seen near every video you have ever shared and others made about you. There is a wealth of knowledge that you have shared on this channel. Though I have never met you or probably never will. It is as though you’re a dear friend to me.
It's always a pleasure to watch a craftsman at work Sandy, you're eye for the detail is amazing, creating a masterpiece every time. As previous comments I agree it is a privilege to own such a beautifully crafted piece of kit. Thank you for taking the time to show us some of your magic.
Love watching your workshop videos Sandy fantastic insight into how much skill and craftsmanship and time that goes into making your knives which i am lucky to say i own one of them. Wishing all the best to you and your family.
Bravo! 👏 I feel so fortunate having two of your Classics in my lap. Fondling them while I watch this video. The handles really are superb 👌 Wonderful to use for a prolonged period of time 😊
There's a lot of pleasure in owning one of these top quality knives. They're beautiful to look at, fantastic in use and a pleasure to look after, keeping them sharp and in good condition. Lovely to see the process, Sandy.
Alexander! I caught your interview with Paul Messner on his channel. Alert your viewers to it! Was a great interview and very interesting. You made me laugh when you said it’s the slowest growing channel on the internet 😂😂😂
Brilliant to watch a true craftsman at work applying his skills. Watched you for years on here and crazy to think your only 13miles from me. One day I will have to meet you. Keep up the good work Sandy 👍🏻🍻
As always Sandy, I am facinated to watch you work, as an amateur knife maker, I know how much work goes into making a knife. I love the coke bottle shape handles, but can never get it right. Thanks for the video, I will give it another go. Very best wishes to you and yours for the festive period and good luck next year. Regards Andy Jersey.
Beautiful work Sandy. I always learn something watching your knife making videos. I am always amazed by how much dust I can produce in my shop. When I get to my second grit hand sanding, I use a butcher block oil with bees wax in it to help the process. Been doing it so long I don't know if it was to help keep the dust down or to speed the process a little. I know it makes the job a little easier at that stage for me. You make beautiful knives Sandy. Hard to find good hand work in the current world we live in.
You should get some adjustable fixing handles ... Makes tightening down the Attachment arm easier n quicker.... I used screws before too n changed them all out a while ago.makes life easier ....
Absolutely incredible sandy ❤ I really don’t know how you do it. Is there such a thing as a plain Jane jacklore ?? I dont think so IMO. They are all absolutely stunning. Your an absolute legend sandy and a true craftsman at the top of their trade ♥️♥️👍👍😊😊😉
Awesome knives Sandy, I never tire from watching you make your knives! I imagine you must have the most comfortable handles after the many years of mastering the process. You have super attention to detail, patience and quality standards that put yours above any others. GOD Bless and Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Absolutely mesmerising to watch your skill at knife making sandy 🙌👌 every single process through all the grits / the shaping /the heat treats /the stropping / stabilising & Also the beautiful leather work that acompanies every knife 👏👏👏👏 ps Sandy i really think you should up your prices at least 20% if not more regards Martin 👌🍻🥃👍
I know what your going through Sandy your R.C joint, I broke my collar bone June 22 had surgery June 23 to repair R.C joint but its only been a partial repair so looking at further surgery Easter next year. I am going to try and get one of your knives for the hundredth time when they go on sale, my luck has got to change someday
Watching a Master Craftsmen at work is mesmerizing!! The attention to detail, pains taking sanding, making sure that they are symmetrical and pleasing to the eye is incredible. Beautiful knives you've created Sandy! Question: What kind of dark wood do you like that would go along with Olive wood as the lighter color? Stay safe and healthy my friend!
Wonderful videos on the application of loveless rivets and on shaping the handle. About to make my first knife so these videos are very helpful. Thank you. I notice the end pattern of your rivets are stunning, but the loveless rivets I have just looked at on Amazon are not quite the same thing. Are you able to tell me what yours are called and where to buy them? Thank you.
Sandy makes some very nice bushcraft knives but it’s a pity he doesn’t use ABEL or the new Magnacut steel which would elevate his knives functionality. 🤔👍 p.s I have several Randal Made Knives in 01 tool steel and a beautiful recurve Bowie in W2 tool steel by Karl B Anderson JBS. 😉
@@warrenstanford7240 Probably need to update the website but there are videos on this channel which feature Stainless knives: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZizLHFBlQgw.htmlsi=egcIZyrqPnLyNM7k
