Shapuri House or Shapuri Mansion in Shiraz
Shapuri House or Shapuri Mansion dates back to the early Pahlavi period and is located in Shiraz, Anuri Street, in front of Ahli Street. This work was registered as one of Iran's national works on 16 Mehr 1379 with registration number 2781.
This work was built from 1310 to 1315 by the famous Shirazi architect Abul Qasim, and it belonged to Abdulsaheb Shapouri, one of the great merchants of Kazeroon.
Until the 1970s, this building was used by the Shapouri family, and it was abandoned for several years, and finally in 1378, the Cultural Heritage Organization of Fars Province bought it and registered it as a cultural heritage of Iran.
This building is built on two floors with an area of ​​840 square meters and on a land area of ​​4635 square meters in the traditional style of first Pahlavi architecture and it is among the first buildings that were designed with a free approach to architecture in those years.
The characteristics that distinguish this building from other buildings of its time are:
The access to the mansion is not from the main axis and it is done from the side (north side) with a 90 degree change.
In this building, like other Iranian gardens, it is parallel to the main axis, but the type of trees and their placement are not parallel.
In the Shapuri mansion, after passing the entrance of the mansion in the middle of the building, the staircase in the middle is one of the distinctive architectural designs of this building, which is not seen in the buildings of the same period.
One of the other innovations of the architect is assigning a specific function to each room, and the multi-functionality of the rooms, as was customary in the past, is no longer observed.
Adding a balcony to the building, which has no place in Iranian architecture, is one of the architectural features of the Shapuri mansion.
The placement of 14 columns in Qeringi with unique decorations around the balcony gives a special identity to this space and brings this creative initiative to its peak.
Also, the sleeping spring, which is a place for summer rest, has a balcony and columns similar to the columns of the main balcony.
خانه شاپوری یا عمارت شاپوری مربوط به اوایل دوره پهلوی است و در شیراز، خیابان انوری، روبروی خیابان اهلی واقع شده است. این اثر در تاریخ ۱۶ مهر ۱۳۷۹ با شمارهٔ ثبت ۲۷۸۱ به‌عنوان یکی از آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده است.
این اثر از سالهای ۱۳۱۰ تا ۱۳۱۵ توسط استاد ابوالقاسم مهندسی معمار معروف شیرازی بنا شده است و متعلق به عبدالصاحب شاپوری از تاجران بزرگ کازرون بوده است.
تا دهه ۷۰ هجری شمسی این بنا مورد استفادهٔ خانوادهٔ شاپوری بود و چند سال به صورت متروکه رها شده‌بود و در نهایت در سال ۱۳۷۸ سازمان میراث فرهنگی استان فارس آن را خریداری و ثبت میراث فرهنگی ایران کرد.
این بنا در دو طبقه با زیربنای ۸۴۰ مترمربع و در زمینی به مساحت ۴۶۳۵ مترمربع به سبک سنتی معماری پهلوی اول بنا شده است و جزو اولین بناهایی است که در آن سال‌ها با رویکرد آزادانه به معماری طراحی شده است
خصوصیاتی که باعث تمایز این بنا ازدیگر بناهای زمان خود می‌شود عبارت است از:
دسترسی به عمارت از محور اصلی نمی‌باشد و با ۹۰ درجه تغییر از کنار (ضلع شمالی) صورت می‌پذیرد.
در این بنا نیز مانند سایر باغ‌های ایرانی قرینگی نسبت به محور اصلی می‌باشد ولی نوع درختان و نحوه قرارگیری آن‌ها قرینه نیستند.
در عمارت شاپوری بعد ازگذراز ورودی عمارت در میانه ساختمان راه پله در وسط از دیگر طرح‌های متمایز معماری این بنا است که در بناهای هم دوره اش به چشم نمی‌خورد.
از دیگر ابداعات ای معمار اختصاص دادن عملکرد خاص به هر اتاق است و چند منظوره بودن اتاق‌ها چنانچه در گذشته مرسوم بوده دیگر مشاهده نمی‌شود.
اضافه نمودن بالکن به بنا که در معماری ایرانی جایگاهی نداشته از دیگر مخصات معماری عمارت شاپوری است.
قرار گرفتن ۱۴ ستون به قرینگی هم با تزئینات منحصر بفرد در گرداگرد بالکن هویتی خاص به این فضا می‌دهد و این ابتکار خلاقانه را به اوج خود می‌رساند.
همچنین بهار خواب نیز که محل استراحت تابستانی است دارای بالکن و ستون‌های مشابه ستون‌های بالکن اصلی است.
