Gobert tried to enforce his will on Klay and put him at a disadvantage, which means Gobert should have been tossed as well. What if his teammate took a swing at Klay while Gobert held him and prevented him from defending himself? It's no different that a bunch of guys jumping one guy where one person holds him so his buddies can swing at him. Draymond saw that and reacted in kind. Gobert instigated that action, he didn't defuse anything. The refs clearly got this one wrong. If you toss one toss them all, or none of them, be fair about it.

You don't ever grab a player from the other team when a fight is possibly about to happen, you get in between and separate them, or pull your own teammate out. Otherwise you are just adding fuel to the fire. Gobert should not have stepped in to make it a 2 on 1 situation, this is what leads to bench clearing situations.
