I met shaq with my family in a restaurant in the mid 90s. He was there with his agent, and I was there with my parents, siblings and grandparents. I didn't even recognize him at the time, but my dad and my brothers did and were probably staring. The place was empty other than us. He was so kind, after his meal he came over completely unprovoked to talk to us because he saw them staring lol, and paid for our dinner and signed autographs.

I met him when he was playing for the Magic at Universal Studios. I was 12 years old and ran up to him but his security tried to block me. Shaq grabbed me and kissed me on the cheek. He's always been super sweet.

Kobe wasn't the most athletically gifted baller ever, but in Shaq's own words, he was a "scientific dog", he studied every shot every play, and would spend hours learning opponents' playbooks. Shaq of course played a major role in Kobe's career, but even after he was gone, Kobe's work ethic allowed him to win without another HoF player.

I absolutely love Shaquille, ever since I saw him as a kid, when he played for Orlando, thinking the whole time, he was so big and dominant that it almost didn't look real because of how big he seemed on TV. Shaq gives no apologies for who and what he's about and even when he's arguing with Chuck, always seems genuine, a little sensitive at times but I love the " Big Fella". Can't wait till Inside the NBA comes back on.

Let's all cherish and hold onto the legendary ball players we have with us today. Kobe we love you dearly. I wasn't into basketball very much, but of course i was aware of all the legendary ball players. Rest easy 💜 we seriously need to cherish the many famous names in the NBA 🙏💯 . These are moments and memories we get to hold onto forever even after they are gone. Life is fragile...Seeing Shaq joke around on the show is such a sensitive moment in time because when he is gone we will feel a different type of feeling re watching these videos
