Met Shaq briefly just once outside a restaurant in Atlanta. Gave a subtle head nod to show respect to one of the GOATS. He was clearly on a date and I wanted to be respectful. This dude made a point to acknowledge me, speak, offer to take a pic (I declined) and was personable and mad cool. I said hi to his lady, told him the chance meeting was enough to make my day and I kept it moving. He’s clearly built for this life.

I’ve always know Shaq to be playful and play pranks, like grabbing your head and laughing. But when he explained that he does it because he loves those people and pulls their head close to his heart, that shit hit me. Amazing dude who can “do it all”. Some people dedicate all their knowledge and resources into one career. He’s lived the lives of a professional athlete, rapper, cop, father, and business owner. I love how humble the big fella is.
