@@jordanrowland9426 I was born and raised in Los Angeles. It felt like a piece of my childhood was ripped from my chest. He should’ve made his own hall of fame speech. Been there for when they eventually put up his statue in front of Staples. My hometown was robbed of an icon and one of it’s favorite sons. Childhood hero, adult role model. Mamba Forever
@@shomoy7396 if kawhi was healthy and zaza didnt try to kill him becuz they know they gonna lost if kawhi was there. Then the sas win the championship few years ago
One possibly, maybe two if we’re really stretching. Shaq only had two more good years left, and SA was on top of their game. Prime Kobe and Shaq w Malone and GP couldn’t push the Pistons to 6, they wouldn’t be in the same stratosphere as the spurs, Mavs, Suns by ‘07.
3 easy. Even though Shaq was aged, he would've had Kobe right beside him, along with a supporting cast. That's what made them great. Deisel down in the post, and Mamba everywhere else. As for the Pistons, they lucked out because the 2 were in a feud and there was too much tension. Shaq and Kobe even acknowledge this and even agreed that if they weren't at odds, they would've seen the Pistons gameplay properly and taken them out easily.
Educated Burnout as much as i can remember as a kid and laker fan in 2004, and as i realize today, none of the greats were on that prime season. Most especially with various intrigues that had affected the team. Apparently and truly, Lakers lost without any reason with 4-1 standing 😭
Take what Shaq said recently to heart. He really meant it. There was no beef between them. It was simply big brother little brother. I'm glad Shaq can reflect on something as innocent as this. RIP Kobe.
That's a bunch of crap and you know it. If course that's what he says after he died. All the evidence and comments from both sides prior says otherwise.
@@johnadams8082 the thing is, that they talked about it, and they came back together, outside of the sports, they couldnt handle each other on the court due to different mindsets, but off the court after their career they were pretty big together again and good friends again, thats the point of the whole comment, they were indeed big and little brother after the carrer in real life, no doubt about that!
Childhood Hero ‼️ He was My MJ I was born in 96 grew Up idolizing Kobe from his fade-away to telling “Kobeeee” when shooting papers in class to the trash can💔LLKobeBeanBryant
He didnt have to... Lakers is a powerhouse with a lot of history. Also LA is a great place to live. LBJ had to move because no one in the league wanted to play in Cleveland and his second best player was Mo Williams ffs. Eh but he came back to Cleveland to win a chip against the best team in league history (record-wise) being down 3-1 and the team had the one and only unanimous MVP and the greatest shooter of all time in Steph Curry.
@@Machozz sorry bro Lakers had 1 other all star in Gasol, he was great but he was no superstar. Lamar Odom was borderline allstar, and rest are role players. The lakers had history, but you can't tell me that team was a super team. After Shaq leave Kobe never had another superstar in their prime. No one was close to Wade or Kyrie.
@@albertwang6465 yea but it’s easier to stay when you got prime 7’ 1” 350 lbs shaq to carry you to win 3 championships in the first 7 years of your career. LeBron had Mo Williams to assist him and of course hes going to fail. Even the owner and management sucked in Cleveland, without LBJ, the Cavs wont win anything.
@@Machozz There wasnt any carrying bro. Go check the stats. The only finals carrying Shaq did was 2000 and it was because Kobe was hurt. Even then he won a game all by himself in overtime. In both 2001 and 2002 Kobe played just as well.
@@Machozz Also if you watch the western playoffs, Kobe absolutely carried when they played against the Spurs. If that was the final (it was THE REAL FINAL), Kobe would have been the FMVP for sure
Damn man, bone spur, broken finger I mean Kobe put everything in that serious, everything he got. It must have taken soo much out of him, out from his body this series.
The thing that hurts me is that he was balling out of his mind in that 2012-2013 season too. He may have had a chance at another one. Then that injury...
This is why you settle all loose ends like these great men did. Because when it comes down to it we all respect ✊ each other’s accomplishments, we just don’t show it enough to the ones we love. Good to see Kobe and Shaq smile together one last time😔😔😔
After watching this video, I cried pretty hard. The interaction between these two is something you won’t see anymore. Shaq definitely said it right, the conversations he had with Kobe, Kobe joking about him having more rings, he’s not going to get that anymore. RIP black mamba, mambacita, and to the 7 others that were on that helicopter 💜💛💜
It's one of the sweetest endings in life by a duo, Paul McArtney and John Lennon, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. And in the end , the love you take is equal to the love you make.
A friend of mine lost his sister, niece and brother in law on Kobe's chopper when it went down. Oddly I used to think of their safety when he would tell me about them going on Kobe's private chopper to their Mamba Academy games. I STILL cant believe it happened and I pray for the victims all the time.
It feels like losing a family member after finding out what happened recently. Rest in piece to one of the GOATs, his daughter, and everyone else who died in that crash.
I just got to say that the memories that we have throughout our lifetime ought to be cherished. I know when Shaq looks back he can always smile about his boy Kobe. I know I would too. Rip Kobe we'll love you til our time is no more
As a laker fan this shit always gets me....i love kobe but shaq was my guy but god damn was it special to hear kobe say it. These two men brought so must joy to my life. Fuck i miss kobe
Glad they did this for Shaq and Kobe. No matter what the differences in personality, they already accepted the reality that Shaq has 4 while Kobe has 5 championships. And, they were laughing and looked happy while discussing this matter to each other. The best 1-2 punch.
For all you haters that say Kobe was carried by Shaq how many rings did Shaq win before teaming with Kobe I’ll wait 🤔? They needed each other for that 3 peat no one was carried and when Kobe won back to back rings without Shaq he was the best player on his team and the best player in the league when Shaq won his ring without Kobe he wasn’t the best player on his team it was clearly d-wade
One of the greatest “what if’s” in NBA history. What if there was no animosity or beef between these two? what if Shaq took better care of his body and had a mamba mentality work ethic like Kobe?. What if there was no care about “who’s team it is” and they just went out there and crushed anyone in their path? I’d say realistically these two would be sitting on 8+ championships today smh
