Tf are you talking about ? Maybe back then it didn’t matter but the world we live on which is sad , money makes moves ! Bottom line , compare the homeless too the rich ?
Charlie Ward was the last player who could have been in this argument. He was a Heisman trophy winner and the starting point guard on a national ranked basketball team with three pros on it at Florida State.
Cam, I would disagree with you that Shannon stays in his lane. He makes lanes as he goes. He's making numbers due to his show has more negativity then when it started.
32:50 Shaq basically told Joker: "You won something I don't think you deserve - congrats!" WTF are we talking about? There's nothing to respect about that. That shows a lack of character to try and bring a man down completely unprovoked after achieving something. Honesty on its own is not a good thing or bad thing - especially when we're dealing with something completely subjective. Shaq saying that to Joker just shows a lack of character, lack of respect, lack of empathy - just childish selfishness is what Shaq showed.
No argument on the sneakerhead issue, but my WIFE has been one for over 20 years. She’s not buying ONLY Jordans, she rocks what’s colorful and fly. As a teacher, it helps her popularity.
I love 💕 this show! But, It’s has now, way Too much commotion on with Peggy, now starting it off at the beginning! Calm & Cut it down, some notches! 🙏💕❤️
My NBA son totally respects NFL players!!! I tried out and made the Rookie Team with Josh Allen! He said, “ heck naw he didn’t want to play football “!!!😂😂
You misunderstand, Charlie Ward played both sports since he was a kid, in fact he was also recruited for basketball. He played Division 1 basketball and football!!
I agree with Cam more people play basketball football basketball more opportunities to play professionally around the world. The football has high as a former collegiate football player can attest to this that football has one league so if you’re not in the upper echelon players to get drafted or you don’t catch somebody’s eye that’s pretty Much it we don’t have many developmental leagues and then we have the XFL UFL and the CFL AMERICAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS WE ONLY GET SO MANY ROSTER SPOTS in which it is still hard to make a team because it is so many players. that’s why I as a high school coach now. Tell my guys that have scholarship offers to your school based on educational value because going into the NFL is slim to none. You have a one percent chance or make it. I’m not telling them not to pursue their dream. Just have a back up plan. also I believe Canada could compete with us a little if football was made in Olympic sport
One word Rugby! Love the content but the Global chat at the end... Rugby is global, they don't wear helmets and they hit hard. World team of rugby players, no even hurt South Africa or New Zealand vs would be reeeeeal interesting.
@camnewton for the off camera person giving their opinion, they began with playing "devil's advocate". I realize off camera dude isnt the inly person to ever have said so. However, i challenge everyone...WHY would we EVER want to advocate on the deviks behalf?😝😎🤔 Let's just state what it is... we're posing an opposing POV.💯
Because of the nature of both sports, to perform competetively the gridiron personnel hold the advantage over the cagers in that the nfl players could play a limited amount of defense but would foul out of the game and not be as technically sound with outside shots but they will have a iot of dunks. The nba players would have on a nice uniform and look good in practice but after going across the middle for a pass and with their height, it makes them an evcellent target for a DB or a LB. Mark McGwire's Brother Dan, (aka) (6'8") was too tall to avoid a sack.and didnt make it in the NFL. Ttherefore competively in more cases than none the football players could play, but the quality would be sub par the majority of the basketball players couldnt withstand the physicality. But there are some hoopsters that can perform, but the majority wouldnt.
Shaq is the biggest crybaby. Words hurt him so much. I get it, you can act tough but words make you cry. Don't get me wrong, I like Shaq. But he has four rings and I don't
I'd be upset too if someone started talking out of pocket about me. Just about everyone but the voters themselves think Shai should have won it over Jokic. So why does Shaq have to be the only one who's jealous of Jokic because he said it on national TV TO THE MANS FACE? Lol make it make sense.
Mannnnnn, I’m so happy for Antoine Winfield Jr! As a Bucs Fan. I respect Tweeze! He works sooo hard! Very happy for him! Highest paid! LETS GOOO!!! Me In Front Chaaaa TVVVV, having a whole LOTTA FUN! 1️⃣ Love 🫶🏾 Edit: Every time Cam brings up the “Larsa’s” 😂😂 I be cryinnnnn.
😂😂😂 Basketball is not easier! That's why basketball players can play football and not the other way around. Shaq, Andre Drummond, and Lebron could play football with a strong training camp! Not one football player, currently or prior NFL players, with one solid training camp or a year's worth of training can make a G League team, let alone make an NBA team.
Playing basketball is safer for sure but requires more skill, if you are in shape and have decent hand eye coordination you can play football, or if you are just big
@@mcdiesel7505 bro what? Thats literally hiw most athletes grew up😂 playing both sports put nba and nfl players on a team with some experience they are dominating. Stop with your bias
I respect Cam and what he said because what he said about both sides. The missing context is on two fronts: Kobe said this about Shaq and he didn't say anything to kobe about it. Then Shaq always bringing up losing to Steve Nash ALL the time. So when walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. 9 times out of 10, people gonna call it a duck. Shaqs backlash is well deserved.
Mr. Newton you just proved that all of you are scared of Shaq. Sharpe told NO LIES and ya’ll turn to pure jello rather than say that Shaq was rude and disrespectful to the Joker. Shaq may have been dominant, but there was only one, maybe two levels to his game whereas Joker has several. He can, pass,, shoot, dribble, make plays and get under the boards. He knows the game of basketball, not just his position. The fact. that he is still whining over not winning MVP is simply pathetic. He did not deserve to win. So do us all a favor, please never say that you either keep it real or keep it 100, You don;t. Shaq himself said he was lazy and didn’t put in the work, Kobe said it too. Now Shannon says it and it’s all of a sudden an attack? He will never be in the conversation of G.O.A.T and I’ll give you just one example why. It’s the 7th game of the NBA finals, your team is down by 1 point, Your center has the ball and gets fouled with 0.3 seconds left on the game clock. Two free throws. Who would you want on the line shooting free throws? Shaq (52.7 career %) or Jokic (82.7 career%). Do the math Tommy, I’ll wait. Instead, how about you just close the door on your way out. Joker proved why he has 3…and sadly Shaq proved why has 1.
... this argument underscores what makes basketball, fundamentally, one of the worst-sports on the planet. When the pre-qualification for professional-success is simply "height" through a freak-form of glandular-mutation... you have no-right comparing yourself to the real-athletes throughout the world.
Tua was dealt spades? Hell no he wasn’t. He had to last long enough to get the dealer swapped with someone who wasn’t trying to stack the whole deck against him. Once the front office finally got that BS sorted out, and brought in some real coaches, yea Tua finally started getting some books in. And he’s making the most out of that. Just look at Tyreeks production the last two years. Best two years of his career. To say Tua was just dealt all the spades is nonsense tho. He made all his books the harder way.
Shannon only said he was jealous because Shaq does puts down every big man every chance he gets no matter how good they are..look what he used to say about Dwight Howard
