My God, my insides just melt. That dear little baby chimp is the sweetest thing ever. That smile, that laugh, the little rattle. 💖 This is cuteness overload and I could watch just this one video every day. I’m so so happy that there are caring, amazing people in this world like those caring for this baby. Thank you with all my heart.
She is beyond adorable and so human-like! Maryland Zoo has a RU-vid channel that they update about Maisie since day 1. Short videos but nonetheless so adorable ❤️ 🐵
That big smile with the cutest noises Masie made... ADORABLE!!!!! I know this is a year old but I just wanted to kiss Maisie through the screen, Cuteeee💋💋😍💋😍💋
When folks pay such high entrance fees to bring a family of four to the zoo, they must accept who really pays for Maizie’s rescue. When fundraiser events bring in millions, they are the resources she benefits from as well. I thank God he made her adorable for a reason. We all still tend The Garden to feel whole. It’s a beautiful thing.
Ellos tienen que vivir en su abita no como seres humanos ..que vida mas triste que llevan sin abusados y explotados para que trabajen vistiendolo como niños ..que triste lo que hacen estas personas 😡
It seems, from the videos I have seen, that mothers in zoos often 'fail' at caring for infants. Is this because they are in the zoo environment, or does this happen in the wild as well? This baby is beautiful... Hope she continues to thrive.
It happens mostly to 1st time moms, who are not experienced and have not seen other moms raise their baby chimps. Usually the main issue is that the mom does not hold her baby close to her nipple so it is starving, or sometimes the mom does not develope the mom-baby bond and simply does not care for the baby at all. It can be due to stress or a complicated painful labor, and it does happen in the wild, it is not that rare. We humans have socially required responsibilities to care for our children, beside the natural instinct and need, and some people also give their babies up. Animals like chimps only have the instinct and gene memory to care for their children, and sometimes it can fail.
If their children weren't starving. If they could grow crops without having them destroyed and their children hacked to pieces in front of them. If they had a government that was not corrupt, they wouldn't!
I see how people can think it is cute because they reflect their own feelings into the animal but I see a monster in the making. I love apes and personally, I think Orangutans are far more gentle than common chimps.
Don`t complain about the costs and the effort to raise such a cute little angel. Think about the joy you have while having such a cute little angel. I would like to change with you. Must be a great experience to spend time with Maisie.
They can’t help Maisie without money tho. So they are not complaining, they are thinking the best of Maisie and others like her. Raise a kid without money, and don’t complain about the cost. “Just enjoy it.” 9_9
No not to keep as a pet, chimps can’t be pets, but every time I see a baby chimp I’d love to care for it till it’s grown up and be brought to a zoo or a rescue. Maisie is one of I wish I can care for when a baby
madre del señor esto no se le puede llamar trabajo esto es una bendicion estar, cuidar etc a angelitos de estos yo pagaria x ello-pero k autencica preciosidad angelical gestos echos etc como un bebe humano.para comerselo............
I know this video is a year old, I was curious if wearing masks changed the way the primates/Maisie saw the staff? Is it more the eye contact thats important since they're so close to human babies?
