Alaska and Fishing bring so many different people together! We love Seward, and can't wait to be back this summer!! My daughters were born in Alaska, and found it funny to see the local kids swimming, just as my kids did, and they never seemed to complain about the cold.

What nice folks you are. So friendly and helpful. I always thought Cod was a deep water fish.

Thanks for watching we Try. usually Cod are several feet hundred feet down but in Seward it drops of really quickly so a hundred yards can be over 100feet deep and a drone can put them 300ft deep. However lately we have caught cod in Cook Inlet at 20 ft which is not normal but very consistent this year

The Asian men are great examples of humanity. Such thoughtfulness and respect shown to you for teaching them and sharing the bounty. Mad respect for you, sir. I'll be down to Lowell from Anchorage a few times this year, in fact, maybe tomorrow. I just caught a ton of hooligan and I have about 15 lbs salted and ready for bait. Question: How far are you dropping the baits? I saw a part of the vid where you said 129. Is that 129 meters away?

It’s Been a week but 80 meters on out was where we we’re catching them I can tell you Cook Inlet Is heating up and last week we caught fish at 40 yards they are shallow there finally that’s where we will be heading I prefer Halibut to Cod
