Thanks Erica. Got my books out and followed along> these were some of my first books back in late 2019. I’m glad I saved my fluffed up pages. They become more meaningfull than the ones you love, I think. Enjoyed them all.
I was super late to the party with her books. I just ordered most of them in 2022. I wasn't sure about her work, but after I went crazy and ordered all of them within a couple months (minus Twilight Garden that I won in a giveaway from Karen Valentine) and started coloring in them -- I realized quickly they are some of my favorite books. Watching you go through these just reminded me how many WIPS I have going in her books. 😆 I literally have a page in Twilight Garden almost complete and yet it has been sitting unfinished since last Fall. 😄 I really need to get back to some of my WIPS and get them done. I pre-ordered Starfall from Amazon US as well, mine was shipped Saturday and it's supposed to be here on Wednesday. Not sure why it is taking that long for shipping because I have Prime. But as of this morning it was in Plainfield, IN. I am in NE Ohio, so thinking it might be here by tomorrow. That double page spread in Luna with the pinkish/red flowers is going to look amazing! Thank you for sharing all your lovely pages! 💖
Have you ever tried using satin glazing liquid? I use it on pages I know I will be using water media. I have started painting on the front and back of the page to keep it flat. It's not great for colored pencils but great for water-based products.
@@maryfeist8080 I have ☺️ I use that more often on Amazon printed books since the paper is not the best quality. I have yet to use it in these books, but if I really want to use my water mediums on a page, I’ll give it a go.
@@Mocha77793 Hi there ☺️ Thanks so much! I do usually do backgrounds first, however I will sometimes get in a mood to use water based markers and then will go through and add color to a bunch of pages. So in those cases the order would be, base layer, background then pencils . Thanks for watching!!
@@michellesauve6778 Rita Berman’s books, most recently Diane Dufour’s books and the majority of my Japanese and Korean books do well with water mediums. And depending on what country the Maria Trolle book is published in, the paper may be different. But for me, the US editions don’t work great with water straight to the page. With that being said, I still adore coloring in them ☺️ Thanks for watching!!
