Marna, there were so many wonderful dolls at that show and I know we could have done a lot more damage to our wallets for sure! We are definitely going to make up for it at the next one!! 😉🥰💖😍
Wow this is a great collection of dolls you have Dorrie and well looked after. You did love your dolls when you were younger that you can see with the care you take in your dolls... thanks for sharing. Have fun and Keep the sparkles on... Lovies Yetta💕
LOVELY Collection!~ I love that you still have those outfits that were handcrafted. How sweet. Your Aunt would be SO thrilled that you still have those and are showing them off. ;-)
Wow, this brings back memories. I remember Chrissy well. All of us girls had one. She is beautiful. I love her outfit. . My sister is older than me, and dressed like that. The second doll is pretty too. Tressie too!!!!! You kept them so well. Thank you for sharing. Have a lovely Friday, and weekend my Friend. Xxxooo ❤️
Hi Dorie. It is so nice to meet everyone in this Crissy challenge! I have loved sharing and seeing everyone else’s collection. Your collection is so great! I used to have a Tressy and I sold her with some other Crissy dolls I had. I will always keep my Crissy and Velvet that remind me of the ones my Sister and I had as kids. The boxes are iconic💕
That is so nice of you my friend! I appreciate your comments and I love that you and your sister had them as kids, they are such sweet vintage fashion dolls and indeed iconic! Thank you for watching and happy weekend! 😍♥️🥰💖
Oh Dorie what a collection. It’s good to see you I was afraid that you weren’t going to join in. I remember those ribbons, my sister was a baby and didn’t have much hair so I undid one of mine so she could look more like a girl 🤣🤣my mama was not pleased 🤣🤣🤣🤷♀️ I never seen a girl baby with so little hair.
🤣🤣Oh my goodness Irene, you totally get me laughing so hard, I just know we could talk forever! When it comes to hair I am much like your baby sister that’s why I like my dolls to have a lot of hair! 😜🤣🥰💖😍
@@DoriesDollies Yes we could! Back when I was in college I use to get extensions every other week and freak my psych professor out 🤣🤣 I don’t know what he thought but he would give me a look like what is up with that 🤣🤣 now I got the old fro🤪
These are so interesting! I didn't have these. I was a baby/toddler when they came out. I might have to try and get some. I have been trying to collect vintage dolls from my childhood. Gosh, those handmade chrissie outfits. LOVE.
@@DoriesDollies Glad you made it some days some days🤪 hope things are much better I know you do a lot of great videos and you need things to go right. tomorrow is another day have a good night my dolly friend.
Thanks Lissa! Seriously in my attic, if anyone who isn’t a doll collector found themselves there in the dark they would have a total scare attack!! 😜🤣🤣🤣😵💫🥰💖💋
Oh my goodness Lissa, I have SO many dolls because I have collected my Entire life and I was always so careful with them even as a little girl and always tried to keep their boxes, even now😵💫😆🤣
What a gorgeous collection you have. Ideal had the best dolls and Neil Estern was a great sculptor. I have the baby Crissy from this line and my 16 year old daughter has the 18 inch Crissy. She wants Velvet next. I really enjoyed this video, as I collect vintage dolls. I hope you’ll share more if you have some.
Thank you So very much Colleen, I really enjoyed this! I tend to show my vintage dolls on the #FlashBackFriday tags and should have something fun up tomorrow! 🥰💖😍
Ok now I know that yes, my aunt had this doll (I was telling Marna). Now that I see the box, I remember playing with her at my grandma’s house. Tressy is beautiful! It’s just amazing all the dolls and all the knowledge you have about them all! They are all amazing! 💙💚💕
One more thing...or two more. First off that's an amazing collection of handmade outfits!! What a fun wardrobe you have !! Also I'm so glad we did this, I love my Crissy dolls but I know they've been starved for attention!
My Crissy was the Look Around Crissy! My cousin had Velvet. I loved Velvet's purple velvet dress💜. I don't remember Carrie. Was there a Cindy? Maybe I could be thinking of Cinnamon as Cindy. I had a Baby Crissy too. Both my Look Around and Baby Crissy are long gone. Fabulous collection!! 🌹❤
@Doriesdollies My Look Around Crissy was sold many many years ago in a yard sale. She still had her original dress and shoes too. I was a 16 or 17 year old. I had stopped playing with dolls. My interest was mainly baby dolls. I kept my favorites in my room and they were very few. The others I had put in a box in the storage area upstairs. So, Mom asked if I wanted the dolls in the box. I of course said no. So, into the yard sale they went. 😪🌹❤
Your Crissy family collection and home-made clothes are gorgeous!😍🥰 Thank you for sharing your collection 💕 We have a 2nd edition AA Crissy baby doll in our collection 🥰 Her chunk factor is so precious 😀
When I was young, I had the orange dress Crissy and I loved her. Unfortunately, my family moved a lot with my dad working for Nasa and the missile program. I have lived from coast to coast while growing up and because of all the moving toys would be given away or lost. I wish I could have kept all my childhood dolls because I always took great care of my dolls as a kid. I remember those colored soft rope style hair accessories. I didn't know that they made so many of these dolls. Of course, my parents would have purchased all of my dolls when I was young for Birthdays and Christmas. I remember making Christmas Wish Lists for Santa (my parents) and looking through the Sears Christmas catalog at the toys and picking out the toys that we wanted Santa to bring us. Such fond memories of my childhood. Take care.
Thank you for sharing your memories Di, how interesting it must have been for your dad to work for NASA! I can only image the stories around the dinner table, Wow! I can’t tell you how much I loved those Sears catalogs and circling everything I wanted, special times my friend! 🥰💖😍
Hello Dorie, how lovely to see all of the details of your Chrissy and tressy dolls. I just found one in a charity shop and made a video but didn’t know much about her. Beautiful collection. I love the baby one ❤
Nice collection!, I love the Crissy Family dolls to bad I don't any, I always wanted one especially Velvet cause she's my favorite one, hopefully one day I will get her and the rest ❤
Oh my goodness, your Crissy dolls are gorgeous and in beautiful condition. Their outfits are super cute. Cinnamon is darling. Thank you so much for sharing.
