What a beautiful collection of knives. I have a good variety of traditionals also, from super inexpensive to for me expensive and I really like them all. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
Afternoon pal , fantastic video thoroughly enjoyed it and agreed with you we all took often get carried away with trends and the latest fads and forget what it's all about I'm no exception at all , it was way simpler when when we were kids 😂 , hope you are feeling better my friend 👊
Great collection of slip joints on show and interesting topic of thoughts, I'm not long subscribed but enjoying your channel contents and slowly making my way on viewing the older videos
I love the way your mind works, similar to mine it seems. It's very interesting the ebbs and flows of collecting. I enjoy hearing your journey and the different thought processes. Great video!
The bone jig on that Marbles knife is a Herringbone pattern. There are so many styles and some closely resemble others. I just love the way the light plays off them.
Great video bud, I always like hearing your insights. I too am buying less but higher quality. Im also trying to get back to my roots a bit on my collection. 🔥
This video reminds me of my bed side table. Full of wonderful knives. I go through spells of buying knives and am in one now. When I was a boy it was the Kamp King knives that I could afford. Carbon steel stamped knives. But they did the job. I’d love to find a vintage USA Marbles knife. The Rosecraft knives are so nice I’m afraid to carry them and messing them up. But I bought them to be used. Fun video as always.
Very nice Paddy Had it on while making Breakfast ...I recently got a Copperlock in red Synthetic I really Didnt think it like plastic this much.. Thanks for Sharing Paddy
Although in Spain I can carry a locking knife, most times I prefer to carry a slipjoint. I do have Case, Boker, Bear & Son and such like but I don't go much over the 100 euro mark. "Three inches, three ounces, tight and outta sight" is my motto for buying knives.
Spear point is best for general purpose for sure but I discovered not the best when I need a pointy blade for packaging. My kids got me a Buck Solo and a Deuce for Father’s Day which is perfect for solving that problem. Current carry is a Case Canoe and a Buck penknife, so I’m well equipped.
I am fortunate in that 1. I love slipjoints 2. I live not a 2 hour drive from Bill Ruples 3. Llife sucks cause I cant afford $2000 for a knife.......LOL
