the worst thing is, that you really fast will not be able to free a champ that is eaten, because you have to kill 50% of the HP of the head in 2 turns - this will be the biggest problem for most normal players who dont have this oneshotting Hydra-Head-Champs.
Even if you do have a team capable of one shotting a head the digestion bar becomes so huge and heads spawn so sporadically that you end up with a digested champ behind poison cloud and a shield and there just gone. Hydra has turned into a speed tune, min max 4x clan boss fight with entirely too many mechanics and too few ways to deal with them. Next week Paylarium will drop a new champion to counter them and everyone will scramble to get there credit cards out. This is a money grab nothing more nothing less. Why make new fun and exciting content when you can just make old content impossible for all but the mega whales and krakens?
turn limit decrease - my clan is lower level, I am not - I kill the hard hydra each week to ensure double rewards, but my hard team takes nearly the 1500 turns to do it. Mark for taunt - weird change that doesn't affect my clan at all - I would have just made it so the hydra chomps the taunt champ. Threat escalation is a run ender, period end of story. 100% agree on unkillable over damage immunity - the hydra will still get to chomp your champ but your damage doesn't end.
Not being able to solo Hard Hydra is definitely something that will be impactful for you. Hopefully with these changes will come an increase in guides and advice on beating Hydra and more of your clan will catch up to you soon. I also hope that plarium will (like they said) monitor the impacts of these changes and make tweaks as necessary. Best of luck to you and your clan ^_^
@@ImRoadblock we're already losing members and it makes me as the leader feel like a failure. I am so ticked at the CCs for pushing for this and not owning up to their fault in this
While I am absolutely devastated about the impact it's having on your clan. It NEEDED to happen. It SHOULD have happened months ago. Your ability as a leader is not reflected in events that are out of your control. Keep your head held high! The fact that you care this much tells me everything I need to know about you as a leader!
@@ImRoadblock This advise is exactly what I am saying. He could be an Adolph Hitler or Gingus Khan level leader but if he has no one to lead what does it matter? Telling folks to suck it up is the wrong advise.
My issue is not with the trunda or the wix nerf it’s more about the taunt and the devour now with a lesser team after 100 turns if you don’t have someone who does dmg on cooldown you instantly loose ur champ that has been eaten since it pretty much 1 turn before there devoured and that’s with playing with the mechanics
Sorry. I did not complete my thought. I will not re-build my clan boss teams. I will stop playing and wait for another game to come along. As an f2p this is crazy. I was just starting to get into the Hydra. Now that is gone as well. Very frustrated. I know they don't care about f2p.
You guys doing this cc stuff must be playing a different game than I am. I am in a small clan doing 2/3 or almost the damage total in hydra. I have 1 trunda team that is now useless, or useless in comparison to previous. We barely ever place in top 3 even with me hitting for 2-2.5b damage. Now I will be doing even less damage. I dont need hydra because the gear sucks anyway. I now have no incentive to even try in hydra to help clanmates. Not sure how that isnt a big deal? If you could explain that to me I would appreciate it. Forgot to mention I run 1500 turns on all 3 teams so all in all I am potentially looking at doing half the damage previously. Forget the trunda nerf between hydra heads being immune to damage losing 500 turns and the fact I wont be able to free heads even if I wanted to I am looking at my damage dropping to maybe less than half. Not sure how I am suppose to feel good about that?
So, to start off I want to point out something very important. It's not ONLY you who is getting this damage reduction. It's everyone. So yes your numbers will go down but so will everyone else's. It seems that you viewed your Trunda team as a way to close the gap but now that gap will be closed for your whole clan too (In Theory). But I think the reason that we "CC's" don't view this as a big deal is because at the end of the day what these changes are doing is simply forcing players to do mechanics. Before Clash we had teams that could manage just fine against the Hydra's mechanics because we weren't all running Trunda teams. Will this solve your clans inability to get top 3? Actually it might (and I hope it does), as teams become closer in damage you may find that your weaker members running "regular" Hydra teams will now be more competitive relative to your opponents, only time will tell. Lastly, I wanted to respond to your comment about "The gear sucks" from Hydra and I think you are heavily mistaken here. 9 piece protection gear was actually super critical for a lot of Trunda teams and I use the 3 and 4 piece bonuses on many champions for extra speed and protected buffs. Stone skin has also become extremely critical in PVP. Stoneskin can allow you to take on Armanz teams, it can keep your squishy nukers alive, it can help you build an extremely hard to kill UDK and that's just what I can think of in the moment typing this out. I would reassess your views on this gear. It's very strong and sought after by many other top tier players.
@@ImRoadblock I try not to pvp. Its horrible and i don't enjoy it. I have tons of protection and stone skin and just don't use it. No pvp no need for stone skin unless I want the one or two piece bonus. As for the damage gap being closed and all teams being closer in points I think you answered that yourself. The reduction is to EVERYONE. I have other damage dealers and honestly my trunda wasn't that great she was just easy. Now my clanmates who struggled to do 20 30 or maybe 40m damage on easy will be doing, if the testing I've seen is even close, nearly half. It is a big deal for low level players especially in a clan that relies on one or two players to score decent numbers. I am so confused how anyone could think this isn't a big deal. I appreciate your effort in making the video but come on bro....
Update. I went from 2.5b to sub 900m in my damage numbers. Same teams except I had to replace gizmak with othorian because krixia cant keep block buffs up all alone anymore. As predicted my clan wasn't even close to top 3 because no one was able to do damage. Still think the player base needs to step up and the CC's should be backing them not spouting the nonsense about how the top players scores will come down. 1.49b damage is the current high record with the new mechanics. Don't think that supports the claim of bridging the gap in hydra. As before I appreciate you and all the CC's work I just think in this case its misleading folks.
I dont wanna be "that guy" and i dont do hydra, but honestly i think this is a reasonable change nerfing trunda and wixwell in hydra teams. I read raids newsletter and they said they want hydra to be mode where like everyone dies and get digested over time than reaching the turn limit and doing billions of damage which i agree with. Take for example, demon lord (except the wixwell teams) the demon lord after reaching 50 turns, ignores unkillable and block damage. And i am also in line with taunt no longer working because it makes more sense. Other buffs like digestion, serpents will and 100% dmg reduction is something i don't really agree with because it makes hydra way more harder, but apart from that, its a pretty good change.
Except the only ones seemingly affected are the mid level accounts and below and especially f2p. I have watched way too many CC videos of billion damage plus hydra nightmare teams to accept that the changes have affected everyone equally.
Youre not a true gamer if you just depend on one or some champions to make your game easy, its a challenge and enjoyment. Not a walk in the park. Playrium doing is to experiment on other champions. Not stick to one or few that is great and other champions gonna be left out.
Would be good advise if regearing champions wasn't a near god like task in this game. I currently have 378 six star champs and because of the costs involved have rarely ever rebuilt a champion for ANYTHING, much less a game mode that sucks as bad as hydra did BEFORE the nerf.
