I think maybe a size bigger on the green flake would have been a little bit better. Didn't need more green flake just bigger flake sizes and it would have been perfect. Otherwise great color combo. I got my first hog salad mold ordered, and i used your code thanks a lot, got me the gillie 3.8. Question how much does that pneumatic press cost? And possible link to it. I found one for $700 and was thinking if there are any more affordable options out there.

Bro great poor. I am thinking about starting to poor my own Bates. What setup would your recommend regarding equipment. Also what are your top four molds you can’t go with out?

First a decent microwave (for bait use only) go ahead and get a good injector, you can get plastic, pigment and flakes from bait plastics to start off. As far as molds I always say get molds of baits that you would actually fish with. Me personally if I had to only pick (4) molds it would be as follows (1) Moondog craw from hog salad bait molds (2) ribbon tail worm from basstackle (3) speed worm from hog salad bait molds (4) space monkey from bait molds It’s very hard to pick 4 but that’s it if I could choose one more I’d have to go with a swim bait mold.
