This is the catch and release of my first shark caught on the beach while on vacation in Surf City, Topsail Island. NC. My wife Emily shot three video clips on her iPhone, and another woman shot video of the release. It was a blast. The Shark took 45 minutes to land, I drew quite a crowd, but released the fish. The landing of the fish takes place around 15 minutes into the video. The reaction of my daughter Rebecca is priceless.
