Great review/comparison, I have been thinking about getting the 320ukt next time I see it on offer - your review has helped me in that regard(i.e. that the powerfins might be worthwhile for carpet use)
*This is my 3rd Crosswave in several years **MyBest.Tools** I use it several times a day. It sees hard use. Best floor cleaning machine ever. I’d never be without one.*
Hi, Big Thank You for producing this video. I rarely comment but wanted u to know I stumbled across you while desperately trying to decide if I should break the bank (and another one) and succumb to a dyson or discover reasons to go with the Shark you reviewed. Sorry, what I actually wanted you to know (🙄), was how much I enjoyed your review. Intelligent, informative, and quite funny (eg: the various "location sites" chosen for filming)! Keep up the good work! I know you will😊
just got one and I notice when I switch off the machine it leaves a pile of the larger debris on the floor more or less piled up.. It is like it sucks it up but get stuck near the head and once you switch it off , it just drops. There doesn't seem to be any blockage and it was my first time using it too.. Any suggestions ?
I hope this makes sense, but I noticed with a previous Shark model, the vacuum pulls itself forward when you switch the power on, Ie you don't really have to push it very hard. Unlike the old Dyson v6 I currently have which doesn't propel itself in any way. Is this something the new Shark models do too? It took a lot of the legwork out of vacuuming for me
Hi, can anyone help please.. just wondering how to clean the clear plastic part on the head. Where the big roll brush spins? I don't think it comes apart but i really need to clean it
Hi, great review thanks. This is currently on "sale" for 329, so thinking of getting it today. My vax reach has given up the ghost after around 8 years of great service, she will be missed. This will be my first cordless if i get it. Is the suction comparable to a corded? I have a daughter and a dog and the carpets seem to get filthy within about 12 hours of hoovering, so need something with good suction and a decent battery. Also is it any good for doing the cars? I can get a dyson ball animal 2 for a similar price,so just need to know if the switch to cordless is worth it. Cheers
I bought that model for about £225 on Amazon - this is what I meant in the review - it is very difficult to know where you are with Shark's pricing. The suction in boost mode is very acceptable compared to a corded, however, you only get 5-10 minutes of this. However, most of the cleaner's performance is due to the cleaner head in most situations, so you should get by quite easily. It is ok for cleaning cars, but I think vacuums with a stretchy hose work better than these designs. Perhaps look into a flexi hose accessory for cleaning cars
@@geezerintotech it would be great if I could get it at that price. This is their flagship model too isn't it? That seems so cheap! Is it 5 ti 10 minutes per battery on the boost mode or is that total? Thanks again
@@Bulldog2108 the boost mode will last you about 5-10 mins on full power. How long it lasts depends on what you're doing with the vacuum e.g. are you using it with the brush head or are you using it standalone etc. Either way, you won't be using boost mode all the time
it does look like the same basic kit as the shark vertex, yes - i imagine what is different is what accessories you get in the box. I'd check with shark/ninja to be sure though
With my IZ300UK i need to press the power button twice to turn the vacuum on, is this normal, its not mentioned in the manual? (Its like a key lock). Also anyway to get it to default to ECO on startup and not always medium power?.
I changed from Dyson to one of these and absolutely hate it. The suction is ridiculously weak, the vacuums rely on the soft roller doing most of the work. Try using one of these to do your car with the ridiculous car accessories, you can literally do better with a dustpan and brush. On a side note for anyone owning I've of these, they have a shark acknowledged weakness in the middle joint prone to breaking. They don't bother telling their customers to avoid losing money but if you contact them saying it's broken they will post out a free stronger replacement part
RUBBISH RUBBISH RUBBISH. Not had this model three months. Have to have it on full power to pick up, battery will last 18mins. Have to go over the carpet Very Very slowly for it to pick up as starts throwing out all the dust. Shark sent me a free motor which has made no difference. Looked underneath where it picks up and full of clumps of dust which ah this must be the issue so took it all out and still the same. Now the charger seems to have packed up as flashing but after one hour the hoover won't turn on. My 15 year Hettie is better. This has great reviews so I'm guessing that my hoover if faulty as it just runs over the dust.
Completely agree, I changed from Dyson to this shark and it's total garbage. Suction is appalling, it relies on the soft roller to pickup. All the proof you need is to try and vacuum your car with the accessory kit... It literally can't do it.....
