1 foot per 1 inch then give yourself an extra foot (6" each side) for example I need 8 1/2 inches around my wrist so I measure out aprox 9 1/2 feet of 550 Cord. Hobby lobby sells a gig with the buckles attached for about 20 dollars, well worth the money if you are planning on doing a bunch.
Sean.: My name is David Camacho from Tijuana just to let you know for the past week i have been learning from you i have learned the shark jaw bone, the hex nut bracelet and the cobra stitch salomon bar....just to encourage you to continue posting new designs if i may i ask...i am 63 years old and still learning...From the bottom of my heart I THANK YOU...!!!
Your tutorials are so well done and the bracelets are fantastic. My grandson & I are enjoying the fun satisfaction that only comes from creating something so pretty and practical!! Thank you
Thank you so much for your tutorial :) just subscribed. I used Black with Arctic and it turned out so cool! For those of you asking about length for each color I used 7 feet and had about a 10 inches left over with both colors. Riky
not seen you do this colour black n white but the 1 where you wrap around and around from start to finish hope you know what i mean but going to try it
Pretty Interesting braid. I have myself just started taking up braiding again and have been looking for different styles. I think I am going to try and learn this braid to add to my collections. Thanks for Sharing this video!!!
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. You made it look easier. I made the bracelet but used a spline with a Lanyard knot. I try not to use buckles although it for some it is necessary. John
Your tutorials are great and your choices of bracelets weaves are even better however, you always start with how many feet of cord you’re using but never say for how long the bracelet is. It would be very nice and helpful if you tell us how many feet of cord per inch we need. Thanks
Tried doing this with one color and it is almost impossible not to screw up which cord goes were. Great video but very hard weave -- not for beginners like me.
I just bought a made paracord bracelet and it wasn't my size so i decided to unravel it and i was fucked in tying it back so i decided to look it up and saw your video. Thanks ! It helped me tie my first own paracord bracelet and it took me an hour an a half. Thank you ! Subscribed!
Hey everyone try this on for size (no pun intended) tie the two ends of paracord to a doorknob (make sure you have plenty of length to work with) stretch it about halfway across say a bedroom that would be a good amount for two bracelets
I`ve done two but where your gold has perfect triangles mine don`t and your orange looks like it goes down to a point, mine don`t. I`m doing the weave like you and pulling it tight. What am I doing wrong?
dave nmemphis ... I like your reply... When have you been close enough to compare sharkjawbone appearances? Chances are he didn't pull his really tight it only looks like he did...
I had the same issue at first, but I finally figured it out. Now sure, this might sound crazy, but if you follow my instructions you'll see that it works. First, find a dwarf. Punch him (hard) in the crotch not once, not twice, but thrice. Second, make a t-shirt that says "I take it to the hilt for poptarts" and lurk in the bathroom in a highway rest stop until you get a customer. Don't worry it shouldn't take long. Then go to the toilet with this gentleman, or gentlemen whichever and play a game of "swallow the hog". Once you get the cash contact me again, I'll give you an account for you to wire the money to and I'll give you the next set of instructions.
I had recently made this braid in 325 paracord into a watch band the band was a bit small so I had to scratch it... That's cool I don't mind trial and error... I switched to 550 (never give up) this time it made a nice roomy watchband... Five thumbs up to you for the tutorial... As I told the last maestro of the Cobra watchband tutorial you all created a monster in the bored paracord department LOL !! :-)
I've made several bracelets in the past couple of days. Everyone loves this design. Thanks for such a easy to follow tutorial. I haven't been doing it long but I sure love it my next challenge is dog collars. Any good suggestions or tips before I start? Thank you again
watching your videos, ALL of them have inspired me to make some paracord leashes...! Thanks for all the help...i have to say using 50 foot lengths at a time is alot harder then 10-16 feet for bracelets.. but the end result is awesome
Please specify whether the buckles are facing down or up when making the bracelet. Sometimes it's hard to see in the video. I have had to flip it around, and after coming from another video where they worked off of the male end, that's twice now hahaha
After watching it 4 times I figured out what you meant when you mentioned the position of the buckles in relation to how it sits on your wrist when finished. It took me a while but I figured it out!
I just finished mine. I used Kelly Camo for the "teeth" and black as my second color. Looks awesome, thank you very much for all your detailed instructions!
Thank you this turned out great i used woodland camo and black and it looked so good that now i am using that color combo for every bracelet or keychain i make for myself the orange jig really helped with it too
I always cut 5ft of each color & unless you have a mutant wrist then there should be no problem. Keep the knots tight & be prepared to break out the fids or the pliers at the end though.
Very Cool this was my first, where you used the orange i used glow in the dark white and where you used the brown or tan i used black.. it cane out great..!!!! thanks...
To all those who are wondering about the length the reason he didn't state the length is because he wanted you to use your best judgement.. Tie the two ends to a bedroom door knob and stretch about half the room... If that isn't enough try the whole length
hi, only my second attempt at doing this . first attempt ended in twist in it ! remember to start with non prominent color first ? thanks for great video.
1WORLDLIFE... I think if you start with the left or the right dominant color, stay with that side til finished... It's when you forget it starts to twist... I caught it early a couple of times because it had thrown the design off a bit.
