You forgot to mention that you can dismantle the front grille with the included allen key and clean the fan blade. It is not in the instruction manual but you can find the info on youtube called "How to Maintain your Shark FlexBreeze Fan"

Just returned my second one and requested a refund . Both keep resetting to a default position whilst oscillating and not moving, looking for an alternative now

I actually like it! Even on the lowest setting I feel cool from it, got it on right now as its like 27deg here in the UK!

Also, there is a "misting" attachment which I've not had chance to try but that's extra option too. Might be worth looking into!

I'd be using this in my living room. Next to my entertainment centre, so tv & gaming next to the fan. Think i will opt for this over a Dyson, I have a couple of dysons & they're loud....I don't think for the level of noise they make you get much airflow

Good video. Downsides and why I’m returning mine: Remote has to be directly aimed at the front of fan to work. Awkward if it’s pointing slightly away from you. Does not mechanically oscillate up and down, only side to side. You have to set it manually to tilt. It returns itself to central position when oscillating - see point 1.

Thanks for the comment! Yea I concede the manual up/down isn't "premium" but also once its set, I don't think there are many circumstances where you'd want it to be going up/down. I guess it just comes down to personal preference, gotta make sure the one you get meets your own needs!

Oh my days, didn't even think about this! 😂😅 For the record, per the Amazon product page, dimensions are (35 x 35 x 94 cm; 5.5 kg) I am actually just sat on the floor next to it! I am 6ft, if I stood next to it you wouldn't see above my waist and there would just be some floating voice talking to the camera! 😂 Thanks for pointing this out!

I think so! UK currently has a heatwave and I've had it on setting 2 which has been plenty but it has 3 more settings for more power! I guess everyone is different though so its somewhat personal! Yea you can! I don't think they advertise that feature really but you can plug the same power cable into the bottom of the base in between the four legs. You can tell it works because the front LED changes to indicate charging! Did that answer your questions? 🙂

How long dos the battery last at full power?

Good question, I've not tested personally but a quick google suggests that unplugged and permanently at full power is about 2hrs battery.

Very good point! I just checked online, you can buy new batteries from Shark themselves, assume it would come with instructions to install!? Let me know if you do this, would be interested to hear how you get on! 🙃

@@DanielsProductReviews sadly they don't recommend touching the battery or taking it apart when I spoke to shark. So it's not designed to replace the battery what do ever... Which in this day so age is stupid. The fan could last years. The battery won't. This will be a no from me. I'm trying to be more sustainable. Great product up to the point you can't replace the battery. Real shame.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I did some quick checks: Low Speed: Up to 24 hours Medium Speed: Around 12 hours High Speed: Approximately 6 hours Maximum Speed: About 2 hours This isn't spot on of course, things like oscillation, etc will impact. But gives you a good guide. I typically find speed2 is generally okay to keep me cool! Hope this helps! 🙏🙏

Good question! So the circular fan head is sat on top of a really decent pivot mechanism and its super easy to just tilt it by just using the handle on the back. From a horizontal position, the fan head can go down about 20 degrees and up about 50, so approx 70 degrees range in total which I think is pretty good! Let me know this helps! 🙃

@@DanielsProductReviews on off times and some other stuff....I know it's like everything has an app but in some cases it's helpful...maybe you want the fan to start up prior to getting home or if you forget to turn off the fan you may be able to via the app after you've left your house. From your review the Shark does have some advantages....I love that you can seperate the top and take it with you.....super useful.... I think the Shark may be more powerful though....it's really gonna come down to the fan speeds and air flow.

@@GearWave Ahh so those are some cool features! I see why they'd be nice to have access too, but fully agree, fan speed / power & noise are the two most important factors! No point it being super powerful, if it sounds like a hurricane whilst you're trying to sleep! 😂
