Same here! He was always my favourite character ever since I was a kid, and he’s the main reason I revisit the movie and why I cannot completely hate it. That scene where he overhears his mourning father say hurtful things about him just hits me. That look of deep hurtful sadness in his eyes just breaks my heart so much that not only did I want to reach into the screen and give him a hug, but also one time that part might’ve actually made me cry, just a little bit. And that scene near the end when he gets a hug from his dad telling him that he loves him is such a sweet moment. Just the way he looked so happy it’s so beautiful you can tell that was all he ever wanted. Plus Jack Black does a nice job bringing him to life, (to think this was before he was Po not to mention this was yet another time he made his voice sound different 19 years before he deepened his voice as Bowser (and of course had people in stitches when he sang the Peaches song)) I think Lenny should’ve been the protagonist, but hey at least his voice actor got the spotlight from DreamWorks a few years later

I love the fact that Lenny is the only one who got the most appropriate and logical reaction after learning that Oscar was a shark slayer, unlike everyone who simply accept it, Lenny was like « yeah, a tiny little fish without any strength aside of speed certainly could defeat a shark, of course that’s obvious 😂😂😂😂 », it shows how Lenny is more smart that we thought

Yeah tbh, Lenny is my most favorite character in the movie, especially when he's the first one to point out Oscar's lie. In my opinion, Jack black was perfect for him and I consider shark tale to be his best movie ever.

It’s a nice thought but sadly not happening. Like there was suppose to be a sequel to Rise of the Guardians but that movie bombed also so that’s not happening. The good news is this movie has quite a following so your not alone in loving it:)

I still love Shark Tale to this day, I get it may not be most people's fav Dreamwork films. but think of it like this. This was Jack Black's first Dreamworks debut. So without Lenny, we wouldn't have Po. Lenny swam so that Po could kick butt.
