I am very much impressed by Vineeta, the way she gives the insight to the founders about their businesses is outstanding. She is pretty much a forward thinker and sense the business models and their shortcomings or challenges.

No it's not! It will only be an excellent strategy if those who bought once with store credit came back to buy more, i.e. repeat customer rate. It seemed like their repeat customer rate is very less. A simple way to fix this is to set a cap. I.e. if you want to use 1x store credit then you have to purchase total of at least 2x. And make the store credit scale 1.5x instead of 2x. It will fix all the issues they are having. Most companies that give store credits follow the same strategy.

Nowadays, IIT is looking like a rote pattern exam for many aspirants. I don't see, in the USA ,for the ivye league colleges, kids are joining any coaching classes. Those are the top in the world. IITs are somewhere in the top 160 or 170. So is IIT a hype ? Curriculum would be definitely more in IITs , faculty would be expensive or better, laboratory would be great etc. , but if joining a company for a job is the ultimate goal after the graduation, then probably IITs could be hype
