obviously sharks don't have time to teach gross margin and other basic business knowledge. And if you are an investor and the business you are investing in can't say basic information about the business, then how can you trust them and know that you are making the right decision?
Honestly the AI cars guy is out of this shark tank panels league. He has built a working prototype of a hydrogen cell car, that also has AI modeled self driving for JUST 60L INR. That is just crazy. Unfathomable. I hope Tata or Mahindra or some Indian motor company acquires a large stake in them or buys them out and give the guy the facilities he needs to grow this work!
It's not like ki baki sherk not understand tech or appreciate but try to understand his project is too ambitious and needs real shark with billion of investment it's not possible achieve by some independent multi millionaire like the shark on TV its need real capitalist
You are missing the point. To build a single car in 7 years in one's own garage by hand is a totally different story as compared to mass production. There are thousands of pieces/parts/components to build a car how was he planning to do that ? It needs huge factories, teams, engineers as each part in itself is an industry needs a plant ... Are you getting it cause even the guy didn't understand this basic concept !!

I think you missed the point, all the sharks appreciated the ambition and make in India for ai powered and hydrogen fuelled car. But creating a car manufacturing company needs immense level of money, specially if you want to compete in AI and Hydrogen fuel space, immense as in billions of dollars investment. Plus on India’s Vision, Tata is already making hydrogen fuelled cars and they are actually even more than 5 gens ahead of the car this guy made here, which stopped working even on what looked like just 10-15 degree slope.

Don't understand why can't they have an expert to talk about the domain if noone has enough domain expertise. TESLA DOESN'T USE LIDAR. Infact, Elon Musk has gone on record multiple times being very vocal about this one. He believes (and with some justification) that Lidar is a terrible idea and that everyone who uses it will come to regret it.
The directors of the show should split the pitches according to sharks coming on that day. That AI car and pizza pitch should have been infront of piyush and Amit. ( Or agr ashneer hota to char chand lag jate) then it would have been interesting seeing what they do with these pitches. Wasted an episode and opportunity for pitchers.
The guy with the AI car was onto something. If he narrows focus and attacks the unmarked roads self-driving problem - he can come up with a gem of an algorithm that's patentable and unique. Else its too big of a game for a little fish to fry.
i feel sad for the pitcher of aicar! He invested 6 million over that car to make a car brand that never gonna possible! His passion maybe backfired him though he surely learned a lot through this process. He should really move on to another direction
Well , if Ashneer would have been there he might have asked the obvious question - what part of your technology can be componentized. and sell separately. and Yes there is Tesla ..and Hyundai ... but there is always market of IP creation .. and these Big car manufacturers dont produce all components themselves ..try replacing a BMW car battery ..BMW itself will gv you 2 options - one their own and one a bit cheaper ...why cant this be the second alternative ?
Google is not yet into cars and what's harm if he is competing with tesla or google atleast he started something. I think sharks are concerned about how he is going to achieve it but i really feel if this dude gets financial backing and some smart team of engineers then i bet he can take his venture at next level

First time watching Indian version of Shark Tank. It's so disappointing. They asked the AI car guy to work for someone else and share his knowledge. Killing an entrepreneur. This is why India will not see an Elon Musk.
Read a lil about tesla.. check how many companies he created and sold before starting tesla.. what was his initial budget when he came with the 1st one.. I am not even bringing that at point ev meant to be golf carts
AI car wale ko kitna bashing kar rahe hai yaar. Galat raste par ja raha hai. Mujhe pata hai obsession with own our can be fatal but legends aise hi nikalte hai. Mujhe lagta hai, AI car wale ne sirf hydrogen fuels par kam karna chahiye aur jab 75% current efficiency se 90% & above pohoche, tab use aage car mein badhana chahiye. Ye middle ground acha hai. Age jake car nahi bikegi 5oh woh hydrogen cells OEM bankar bech sakta hai. Good luck!
