I love how Barbara finally gives a legitimate reason for being out and then ends up making a deal

These guys are honestly some of the best negotiators i've seen in the tank, they asked the right question to Kevin after he said he has no flexibility. They gave a restructured deal rather than a counter. And they were convincing enough to have Barbara come back in, which is unheard of. Good job on these guys

What a completely surreal experience this was! Being first-time founders, entering the Tank was definitely a roller-coaster of emotions! That one's for the bucket list! TBH the sharks were all quite approachable and very insightful! In retrospect, we leaned into the anti-coconut stance a little too much in our pitch and didn't honor the cactus properly - that's our bad. The cactus deserves to have its own story shared in an authentic way; we just hadn't found our voice yet at the time. But, we've come a longggg way since we filmed this segment a while back. Pricklee wouldn't be where it is today if we didn't keep learning and growing from our experiences, and this was one of our biggest growth experiences as people, ever! You don't always figure out your brand on day 1, but as they say - the journey is the destination. So for anyone out there building a business or brand - just remember to take it one day at a time. That guy asked an amazing question. And Kevin didn't answered the question. The guy didn't counter, still he countered and made Kevin retract his original offer. Smart guys. 🔥

What a smart move. Kevin didn't wanted a counter, he just wanted a yes or no and close it. The guy picked up his sleeves and started a conversation making Kevin go the other way and forget how he 'didn't have any flexibility'. Such a smart move. Usually people would counter right on the money, but he didn't as Kevin was the only one in.

Barbara is too kind. She already lost many times with beverage deal yet she still helps new enterpreneur if they looks serious with their business. Her kindness is also her weakness because she evaluates it by feeling but luckily some of them are huge success like Comfy.

I gotta say I love how Barbara stood up for them and also called out Kevin for bullying himself into some deals 😂

I love Barbara. Once she sees one of the sharks bullying the entrepreneus and sees that the entrepreneurs are genuinely hardworking, she'd be ready to help them. She's not bad at all

The fact that Kevin said “I’ll be a customer” and didn’t say they were dead to him shows how he knew his offer was too high equity. He even went down to 10% but in the end you could say he was being a little greedy like Barbara pointed out. In the end, the right deal won out.

I have so much respect for Barbra. It’s people like this woman who give people hope. Thank you so much.

Barbara may be the butt of many a jokes but she wears her heart on her sleeve. She expresses her genuine thoughts despite how silly or funny they may be to spectators. She knows what it was like to be the small person on the block and, despite her success, she'll still go to bat for others who now stand in the position that she once stood in. That's respectable, and the fact that she doesn't even do it for the validation from internet strangers, makes her even more respectable. On another note, Kun is one savvy son of a gun. 6:15 on was a masterclass in dialogue. Smooth operator.

“we’re not doing this for the cash, we’re doing this because our parents were immigrants” what? how is that relevant whatsoever to the pitch.

Pricklee’s business is still in business, and they are still growing. Along with all those success stories, Pricklee Cactus Water’s net worth is estimated at around 2 million dollars for 2022

In my work's break room, we have kind of a convenience store area with self check out. One of the fridges has Pricklee and because I lived in Mexico and really enjoyed tuna (the name for cactus fruit in Spanish), I wanted to try it. It was actually a lot better than I expected! I'm glad they made it because most people might be afraid to try prickly pear, or even nopales itself. But don't be! Love a good cactus. 💛

I love Barbara, she knew Kelvin just care about making his money but not the business growth. And she saw potential in them that they're ready to work and make the bring big. Even though she has been rough experience in the line of business she still took that risk. Respect to her

this is actually a great product. low calorie and hydrating. my issue is its expensive. it's something I would like to drink daily but because it's so expensive I simply can't afford it.

I love how Kevin seems happy when his negotiations tactics get people good or better deals with other sharks.

I see a lot of comments praising Barbara but Kevin plays the shark tank villain perfectly. When all the other sharks say no he consistently conjures up deals to keep things interesting and a lot of times those deals give the sharks a new perspective of the ask and a lot of the time pulls them back. If Kevin didn’t make that deal despite wanting nothing to do with that industry Barbara would’ve remained out. Barbs is cool but Kevin is a genius.

Well, at least we can say that Barbara didn't want to see these men lose everything they had invested into their business, and she rescued them from Kevin's greedy offer. In the end... Barbara saved the day!
