50k @ $20 each = 2500 units is way less than one per store per day. If we take the $625 per store figure and divide that by the $20 that's 31.25 units per store per year divided by 52 weeks per year is 0.6 per week, they're at even less than one unit per store per week. Closer to one every two weeks. And yet they're also selling online?

@@markkostka6897 We have 3 boys. Heavy into sports with a lot of friends and tons of boys in our family. They love this kind of stuff. It’s loud. That’s a boy’s DNA. They didn’t iterate this enough. They didn’t test the market. They didn’t test the materials and specs preferred. When a company goes out of business, that doesn’t mean the idea didn’t have merit. That doesn’t mean POC wasn’t proven; it can often mean the owners suck and have zero business acumen. Case and point here

As far as I can tell, most (but maybe not all) of the competition is integrated into the helmet. The benefit to this is that it can be removed and traded, and that it can be attached to helmets you already have.

I believe adding unverified equipment to a piece of safety equipment affects the integrity of the safety features and would probably void any type of warranty and/or safety guarantees. Be leery if purchasing these types of add-ons, I would never allow my children or adult members of my family to "add-on" anything like this. Stickers, sure but never something like this.
