Agreed - but to give benefit of the doubt, could it be the case that she’s expressing the process used to make them releases toxic chemicals, where theirs does not? (Of course this is still misleading the way it was presented)
@@shoansnoday1768 No they didn't. They still have to pay this 100k back. Just because royalty went down to 75c does not mean they saved $25k. They just pay it back slower. Sometimes I wonder how this comment section is so clueless about simple things.
The guest shark is right, almost no one is gonna ditch their current yoga mat to buy this. The exercises they did can also be used without the mat, so I don't really see a point besides the convenience of folding nicely.
Shocked they didn’t immediately take Lori’s offer. They were willing to give another 12% of their company instead of a $1 royalty that goes away with their $50+ profit margin.
The first one threw out worked in “startups my whole career.” When that is used on this show it means lots of different things but most commonly when talking about non-traditional innovative/disruptive businesses. I don’t think anyone was expecting her to say restaurants and dentists as in probably local one location traditional businesses.
@@jwayne4225 I honestly don't know why she said that... I checked her LinkedIn and it doesn't show she's worked in those places, but it does show that she's worked at tech start-ups as a business development rep and account executive. Weird.
Could someone explain the logic of giving away more of the company than the initial royalty offer? Also, whether it is $1 or .75 cents royalty until $100k is paid off, surely over time it works out the same? I don't understand the logic.

I am a Crossfitter and though this mat may have some merit, in reality its a total waste of money. Those "extra" benefits that they talk of for triceps, push ups etc is just not going to work with those who are serious with their workouts - these guys will always do it on a proper machine. This is just another piece of totally unwanted accessory for gym goers. Unbelievable Lori even offered something.
I feel like this episode was scripted. THere was probably no drama at all because lori offered a ridiculously fair deal. THe producers probably asked for fake dramatization.
