The boys are back in the harbour trying to get their first Kingfish in the new boat. They encounter 2 different Great Whits Sharks in the process. A very very cool experience that you don’t get to see too often!

Bro's! Had a baby at the start of the week and finally been able to binge some episodes. Can I just say this is the best show for one reason. It's exactly like fishing with your mates. The two of you have a great friendship and the fishing is A1....even when Milan balls it up 🤣 keep it up fellas!

@@TheLateralLine yeah bro. I use mine heaps to spot and film big carp on the flats in oz then put a fly to them. 6kg carp on 5# in 30cm of water in the Murray river goes off! Be cool to do the same with some ray riding kings

A couple of things, first, SMART to wear both a radio--and a PLB? Love it, and boaters should think about equipment--not just in the boat, but ON your person. Second, can you tell us about your way cool boat--hull makers, length, specs/equipment? Thanks for the great post.

Love the boat guys just an amazing fishing boat design No1...There has been so many sharks everywhere even in OZ days have changed so quick one day on next shut down for even live bait Do you ever use the drone for bait drops ? Night fishing hell yes your in my love of fishing now look forward to seeing that footage Since cyclones have washed flooded and destroyed any fishing in Queensland Australia ill need my fix of watching you guys Love ya work

That was some amazing drone footage for the opening of the kingi cruising through the school!! How cool!! Haha robbed of the dead piper by the apprentice tax man... bugger!! Great episode, cool to see how far Nato has come with his drone footage vs learning to use one, and it's really great that we can see these things and the progression you guys make on your channel. Could very well be a nursery? I haven’t heard of any big female white sharks in there though? But that doesn’t mean much right? I’m sure a big female could sneak in and out with out being seen! Thanks for your comment my man 👍

@@TheLateralLine I'm not an expert, but with the whites, I believe they calve off and the youngsters go off inshore quickly smashing fish. They grow really quickly and by about 2 /2.5 m they start experimenting on high fat bearing food sources eg seals and whale calves, schools of salmon and pinkies, surfers lol etc

Could be, they have razor sharp teeth when they are small to I’m guessing and we are incredibly vulnerable to sharp things. It makes more sense that a smaller less mature shark would make the identity mistake, but we have also heard of bigger sharks being seen then the ones we filmed. I’ve seen more white sharks in 2020 then I have in the previous 15 years of fishing big berley trails!

Hi Nathan, It is good to see an honest fishing program. Most other fishing programs I have watched show fish catches but not the hours of work put into those catches. That’s another excellent video nato! I think you need to keep that drone from Dane, it makes these videos that much better. The only thing now Is you need to learn to fly the drone and at the same time video Milan fighting the fish from the boat, that will take some practice but I think having combined shots will top it off. Look forward to seeing you target some snapper and give Milan a go with the camera. Surely Milan can land a kingy sometime soon

So did we until we got a good look at it. We have never seen a mako in that harbour and we have accidentally caught 4 juvenile great white sharks in there so I’m willing to bet my house it was a white shark 😁 thanks for watching 👍

This reminds of trying to put the first kingy in my mates boat.. lol it took about 5 trips and a couple of lost fish before finally landing a rat kingy of about 50cm. But then the flood gates opened!! Keep at it Milan you will get him mate!!

There might be more white sharks in nz than locals think but nowhere as many attacks as oz but possibly as many sharks ? Do the orcas keep them at bay maybe ?

Orcas are often seen in the harbour so yer maybe? We had seen 1 great white shark in the last 10 years of pumping big berley trails. We have seen 5 white sharks in 2020 😳

Thank you my man, I’m really enjoying making the lateral line. The drone has opened up a whole new world it seems. What you can see from the air is amazing!!!! Gives a clearer picture on how birds seem to find the fish so easily 👍 thanks for watching and commenting my man 😎

you could get a GoPro on a pole so when fish of sharks are close you can get underwater shots, could be pretty cool
