I need there to be a cinematic where Jaina's ghost is near her body or something and then suddenly from behind her you hear the ghost of Arthas say something like "Jaina?" and she turns around like "Arthas!?" and his ghost just smiles at her and says "Has a prince escorted you in awhile?" and then they just embrace each other and disappear into sparkles...
If Jaina is to die in a raid she should die as an ally to Azeroth not turning evil. She can be killed by the BBEG rather than just "be evil" or she could just be corrupted by something... rip Ysera :(

Heard this in a twitch stream. It came on and the streamer got really quiet and said this was truly depressing. He changed the song. This one song gave the whole chat enough feels to bum them out when prior to we were having a blast. It's not a bad thing, not at all. Actually it's amazing. Arthas will forever be my favorite warcraft character. No other can compare.

This is more beautiful then any parody I have listened to. Arthas and Jaina are beyond my favorite characters in WoW and Warcraft. This means so much to me! Thank you so much Sharm, you and C Michaels did amazing voices of them!
I think maybe this song brings tears because a lot of us have had to end a relationship or a marriage with someone we still loved very much because it was the right thing to do. That doesn't mean that once it is over you won't bleed inside for years afterwards. You don't die from a broken heart, you just wish you could.
Italia, this isn't them separating over them ending the relationship, this is her having to kill arthas because it is her quest to being a end to his curse and the "Lich King".
The original sounds like a dude pleading, while this one got so much more story. This version is way better I think, just that not everyone can get the story behind it because they don't read or play WoW. Peasants.
Watching this now I really feel the incredible sadness of the song and an immeasurable amount of anger at Blizzard. Simply because of the Anduin raid finale cinematic, since we could have had a beautiful moment with Jaina speaken to the remnants of Arthas or Uther understanding what had become of Arthas but no apparently fuck that, let us have the fucking ranger elf that he killed talk about him... Sorry for ranting I just felt like I needed to get that off my chest.
I stopped playing in that expansion so am so very happy i didn't see that bull shit. Arthas was one thee best characters in World of Warcraft. Yes he became a bad guy and we killed him but what they did to him in that expansion was a personal attack from some writer to try and get rid of one of the most popular characters so their characters would get the focus.

I just came from seeing the raid cinematic of patch 9.2 of Shadowlands, with the defeat of Anduin being controlled by The Jailer, and showing the final destiny of Arthas. I can only say that if a part of my soul was broken seeing this cover of yours for the first time Sharm, ... god... ... now it is completely broken... All lore related to the Lich King is the souvenir of Arthas that I have chosen to keep in my heart. We will never forget his name and the legacy he left us... Arthas Menethil, forever in our memory. I really did not like seeing his wisp just disappear people say he might have a comeback but I don't see how it is possible. I hope to see Jaina have some closure at some point in game related to Arthas.

I heard the "real" version on the radio the other day and was super confused that the lyrics were wrong and there wasn't Sharm in the second verse, So of course I had to immediately find this video and listen to you and Mr. Michaels perform this fantastic love story with your amazing Vocals.

Doing my Argent Tournament dailys while scrolling through your channel, and I find this... actually cried. After reading "Rise of the Lich King" and knowing the story of their relationship, this song beautifully destroyed me.
Arthas has maybe the best story and character progression in fiction ever. After listening to this song for the first time I just wasn't the same for the rest of the day, it really hit me hearing a duet of two lovers who are torn apart by evil. Ironically, the day after I heard this song for the fist time is the day that I got Invincible dropped from ICC, as if it was meant to be.

Tell me about I did not play Wotlk, I lived it literally lost my job a little bit after launch because of the economic crisis but I had a lot saved away so just chilled playing the game 14-18 hours a day to till Cata. Made it into top raiding guilds, met my wife now of 13 years and got over my social anxiety. Then these classic songs were born from all of that. I don't think I'll ever see a time so damn beautiful again people all around me were suffering from the economy but I have never felt better.

I played Wow from BC to BFA as a Blood Elf and the story of Arthas, Jania, and Sylvanas has always been my favorite. To the singers. You noth nailed it.
Ah, I'm always so moved whenever I find myself coming back to this! I remember when I first heard it and showed it to my mother (she was an OG player, hasn't played much in recent years, but does enjoy listening to me rant about the lore lol), and her crying her eyes out over it. Can't believe how quickly time has flow by since then!
I cannot possibly express how much this song affects me. I have been playing World of Warcraft off and on for about 14 years. I was a huge fan of Warcraft 3 before that. Arthas has been one of my 2 favorite Warcraft characters from the beginning. I just can't help but love the anti-hero story he portrays. Jaina is tied for my 3rd favorite. If you know the lore behind these 2, you understand my anguish from this song.

I commented on your wonderful vocals regarding a Toast to Warcraft many months ago and have recently updated my compy & so downloaded my fav wow parodies yet again when I came across this song. I don't know if it's knowing the lore or the story or whatever it is...but this song is so emotional I keep thinking of a forlorn Muradin saying to Arthas that it's ok lad...it was meant to be to save your people (Warcraft 3?)...yet the love lost by both Jaina & Arthas...the sacrifices they made that few know of...pulls at the heart strings.
This made my eyes all watery. Especially towards the end thinking about when we took down Arthas and for a few moments it was like he was actually there when he spoke to his father's ghost before dying. Arthas's story is definitely one of my favorites in Warcraft.

Of all the fan made WoW songs by so many talented people, be they parody or of the epic style, this is absolutely the most beautiful and amazing. In fact, it is exceptional, regardless of genre. I think a lot of us "oldies" that have been into this since Warcraft 3 and earlier, consider Arthas the most fascinating and central character/tale. I still remember the shock when I played Warcraft 3 and came to the moment in the game where I realized Arthas was actually going to go truly evil. So this song has a massive emotional impact as well. Thank you for creating this. You are a truly great vocalist.
Gonna be honest, I'm not the hugest fan of the original song- I mean, it's good, it's not bad, it's just not my genre. However, with the lyrics reflecting the story of the Lich King and Jaina, it makes it so, so much better. Probably the best parody of anything I've ever heard. Both you and Micheals did an absolutely excellent job.

+Mallery Jaina has gone through hell and back shes a character who has gone through so much shit its unbelievable she isnt crazy shes traumatized from the immense losses she has gone through. I hope they build her story in Legion

Better than the original IMO. Aside from being about World of Warcraft making it mean little to most of the population. The only flaw is how niche it is, but there's still a lot of people who know about the story.
This is an older video, and I have never played WoW. But this made me tear up, the singing was beyond stunning. And I thoroughly enjoyed it, and the story behind it is more than compelling. Beautiful work.
