Dennis and Sharon were so meant to be together. Its a shame that fuckin EE's writers killed him off.

Can't have anyone cause he hates himself. Poor Dennis. His heart broke when she labelled him a murderer.

I love this 2 hander between Sharon/Dennis...It's up there with the Den/Dennis one before it...It's so gripping and intense...I loved his "Why don't you wanna hear what i've done Sharon?" and then the tearful " I didn't know it was you...what were you doing there?"...It helps that they have great chemistry, and Dennis is gorgeous in that suit...But the acting here is fantastic....The Vicki puppy line is very sad :((

Dirty Den and his scams lol. Perfectionist at it. Dennis was a cool guy and the viewers liked him.

2:02 Dennis didn’t apologise, didn’t feel the need to spin a sob story. He defended himself against Sharon’s anger. That’s what makes this a great scene. Not sure it would be written this way these days. These days would it have been watered down a need for him to show remorse?

@OhWhenTheSaints Yes it was Mark's funeral, about a week after Dennis hit Sharon in the pub. Dennis was working for Andy. Sharon had just come round and realised he wouldn't hurt her on purpose so wanted to talk to him. Den told her she didn't really know what he was like, and that he murdered Dalton, hoping it'd stop them getting back together.

the show shouldn't have killed off Dennis he was a great complex Hardman who unlike Phil showed he was capable of murder when he took out Jack Dalton so really Dennis should have stuck around as the show's main hardman and criminal character as it would actually make sense people being afraid of being killed by him. and also him taking out Jack Dalton would explain him having the kinda reputation in the criminal underworld that Phil has been shown to have in recent years even tho he hasn't actually earned it lol.

when she says 'I was in love with you!' is she saying she was in love with him way back then? I mean I knew she fancied him cos it was after he tried to kiss her?

When exactly was this? All I know is that Dennis shot Jack Dalton dead in July 2003 and Den returned in September/October.

yh the xmas one was my fave ep - but i know i either stopped watching the show after dennis died or after leo died - whichever came 2nd - too many gd characters died.
