I love this, because people have become so willing to say anything harshly. I challenge anyone to try it, even on Twitter or Facebook. I did it, and I had a real conversation with several people without name calling, and overlooking their yelling, and eventually they said to me, you can't be like all the others because you've listened and haven't called me any names. If you win an argument yelling your point back and forth, you have both lost. When we go to make a point we can go in with truth, and be willing to be listen to, and then ask the other person if you can give your point. Instead of responding or starting with name calling and yelling, test it out. Tell the, "I'd love to hear what you mean by this," and they will generally say something not so nice, then challenge them, "Can you tell me more about it?" Keep the conversation going till they are finished being frustrated, then ask, "Can I give you my take on it?" I've had the opportunity to have the conversations with truth and love. You leave the conversation hopeful instead of angry. I think as Christians, we are called to speak truth, yet we don't speak until they know we care about them and then do it with truth with love. Lately, all I have seen is people trying to win. When non-Christians see us do we portray the heart of Jesus? He was always willing to confront and even be angry, but he speaks about it in Love....I have had to ask my family if they want me to listen, I want to hear with the sound more quiet. It worked and we've had many conversations, and I feel that to get someone to see the Christian way is to live it. Let them see your love, kindness, patience, etc. that's how you plant seeds and eventually they see the Jesus in you. Make your point for Jesus...Matthew 6 and 7 points in the positive direction and gives great information.

This is going to help someone, me. I've been struggling with this issue at work when it comes to my co workers. They can be down right mean and I'm not saying that I'm perfect because I'm not. All started with delta then getting my gallbladder out. Pray for my healing. i have had over 40 blood tests, ct scans, mri, stool tests, tested for lyme, celiac, had my inflammation markers checked and got ekg as well as an abodminal ultrasound. Only thing they found is some erosive gastritis. Don't feel well a lot. Have lost 110 pounds in over a year and have long haul covid. A lot of stomach issues

Sharon had some good ideas and they worked for her. I was surprised that she didn't mention forgiveness as a way to change your mind and speech. Forgiveness/ repentance in the New Testament is metanoia, meaning change you mind or change what you know. She spoke of gratitude which allows us to see God in others. Gratitude comes through forgiveness since if we have grudges against others we think we are unfairly treated by them and gratitude is therefore impossible..

This is easy when you follow one rule. What you put in is what you get out. If your watching movies,music with inappropriate language or hanging around people who speak foul you will regurgitate that foulness. But if you surround yourself with pure movies/music and people you will copy that.

I understand. I have said and acted out in a way that was wrong. I allowed my anger and my words to take over. I was fed up with being mistreated by this person too many times. I should of prayed but instead let her have exactly how I felt. Coworkers can be harsh and unfortunately unforgiving because when they aren’t living a Christian life they could care less about you. One thing I’ve learned is don’t get involved and keep to your self doing your job. Some workers only wanna work and not be your friend.

It amazes me how the Moderator of this channel is assisting Robert Douglas in his error by highlighting his replies when he is clearly a deceiver who does not utter a single scriptural truth.
