I am so glad you did this!!! I was having the SAME problem. I finally saw the slit on the back and tried it and it still didn't work! So I looked through the videos and finally found yours! After watching this... I went to my calculator and viola! It worked 'AFTER' I pushed the paper in a little more than I was! THANK YOU!!

Oh My Goodness. I bought the little sharp adding machine. I'm doing a bunch of expense reports I do them about ONCE every two years with COVID its been almost 4. I'm not an accountant but I was a bank teller almost 30 years ago and no matter what the new tech says, there is nothing like a running tape. But without your video I would still be trying to figure it out. 🤔🙃😉😉. That you, you saved my sanity.!

Appreciate the video! Took me about 20 seconds to do it. My biggest tip is cut the paper to get a fresh end to feed, works much easier. Thanks again & God bless

Thank you for the video. I did it exactly like you did and it didn't work when I tried to print! The paper roll on mine had to go the other way, under not over. For those of us that are very literal, I hope this helps.

Thqnk you for doing this video, I have to say, I saw the slot on the back but it has some “teeth” and I thought it was the joint of the two faces of the machine or something after I try with a thorn by hand paper, then when I saw your video and you said it has to be with a clean streight cut, then I got it. However in 1987 I work on an office where we used adding machines, Casio, and they were really noce and we did’t have any provlema to feed the roll of paper. Anyway, thank you for your video it was really helpful.

Hey - THANK YOU for this!!! I just bought this model - always had a Canon (which I should have purchased). I have the directions and there was no indication of the slot on the back. None. And showing the difficulty was a good thing. Wish I had a boss to switch out with. 🥳
