Glad it was helpful! And I hear ya! When I first started I would focus & recompose and had to break the habit. But after using single point focus a while, I swear it becomes second nature where you don't even need to think about it. 🙂
Good stuff here! If I can get past my need for perfection, I can get started on my goal of becoming a senior portraits photographer. I hate that I get in my own way.
