It is without doubt the superbolide, compare the 2013 footage showing the Two Counter Rotating Vortices behind the Blinding White Light of ablation. It is shown with the Two Chinese New Year Dragons chasing a Bright White Pearl accompanied with Fireworks and also the Mexican Pyramid with Two White Serpents descending from the sky.
I found out Ninurta is an inspiration for Indra in Hindu myth. I find it interesting that Ninurta fought a Seven headed serpent like you said. The seven headed serpent is an important figure in Hinduism. I also found out the Sumerians and the Indus vally civilization traded with eachother. Thats the origin of it all!
@@bocoom While Sumer did trade with the Indus valley civilization, we can't assume that the people of the Indus valley adopted any of the Sumerian beliefs. Unfortunately, there's a nationalist movement in India at the moment and this is leading to a lot of lazy scholarship.
@@templeofenki5227 There is clear evidence of borrowing between these two cultures. For example the Rig Veda speaks about the gods having an immortality granting substance called Amrita. The Sumerian gods also had an immortality granting substance that was given to the flood hero Ziusudra. Hinduism also has its own flood hero named Manu. Manu got saved by the giant fish who was the Avatar of Vishnu. The fish is the symbol of Enki who saved Ziusudra from the flood. Indra also shares more story beats with Ninurta. For example he fights a bird monster named Garuda, he fights a giant serpent called Vritra, he becomes very arrogant over his victories and ends up being humbled by the gods. I know nationalism is a problem, however if everyone realizes that the myths we have today contain reworked Mesopotamian myths then that should counter the nationalist poison.
@@serenasilva2682 I fully support this. Most of the time you see the Mesopotamian gods mentioned in fiction, the alien rout is chosen. This is so intellectually lazy. A better approach is to integrate with the way the ancient people saw the gods. Perhaps Sharur is the god that an intelligent weapon prays to. Perhaps Sharur gives the party a quest to rescue a magic weapon from evil clutches. Perhaps a weapon smith prays to Sharur and is granted a vision. You have choices.
Gilgamesh was one third Anzu, one third King, and one third Atrahasis. He was genetically engineered and carried to term by Ninhursag. So that he might defeat her husband. She found his cruelty disturbing. She created Gilgamesh with the genes of the tribes lost to the flood. So that his descendants would restore those tribes. Through each generation his descendants DNA would change form into another list tribe. His descendants last arrived in Bavaria in the 7th century bce. They were refugees from the fall of the Assyrian empire. Their tribe became known as the Asir. One of those descendants was Donar/Thor. Who had a son with a Thuringian chieftain's daughter. His name was Odoacer/Meroving. And that Thuringian princess was the direct matrilineal descendant of Mary Magdalena. He overthrew Rome but refused the title emperor. But his descendants did not, the holy Roman emperors. Charlemagne was the most loved of his line. This is what I was told by my grandfather when I was young. Handed down for 100 generations. Because we are the descendants of the line of Gilgamesh, through Odoacer/ Meroving. And our DNA is indeed very different. We have two strands of DNA. That's twice the normal amount. Two distinct strands with distinct variations between them. Connected by hydrogen atoms in a manner seen nowhere else on earth. Like the staff and snake. One snake on the pole for humans. Two snakes on the pole for the Gods. The myths are real.
