it's very sad, I thought Indians are very loving and respectful towards mothers. Its very painful for me to know how much ShashiKala suffered in her life. I wish she can come to USA and we will take care of her with the bottom of our hearts and soul. She will be honored like a queen. She's my mother's age, Believe me, we will worship her ; I invited lots of old women in my house, they stayed as long as they wanted. -everybody use to be so happy, we will cook together, eat , and tell stories. Please tell Shashikala to come and visit us in USA.

The golden era gave one more beauty, Shashikala ji. A very good actress who did lots of vamp roles in 69’s and 70’s and who can forget her in Aarti and Gumrah when she received best supporting actress award. She was so good in her roles that she did better than the lead heroines in some movies. Long live Shashikala ji.

This is a great episode but Tabssumji I feel you should have emphasised the fact that Shashikala played negative Mother-In-Law roles in her later films with huge success.

Tabassumji main aapka 'Binaca Geetmala" ke time se fan hoon. Ye aapke chhote chhote videos bahut achchhe hain, aap bahut hi achchha kaam kar rahi hai, please isko rokiyega nahi.

2-3 days back,I came across a clip on facebook from the movie Sautan, where she played the role of Tina Munim's step mother. Somehow, I felt she resembled Frooty's dady from Sonpari. When I googled it was Shashikala. She really looked graceful in Sonpari.
