Oh god is there anything even positive about this placement!? Everywhere I read and saw its describe as a difficult not the most likable position one can have in their chart..

Maria Zheleva Ya that's right because navamsha or any other divisional chart is based on rashi chart (D-1), In D-1 chart planets are placed in nakshatras and then it is fix that planets are in this nakshatras. now divisional charts are the divisions of rashi's not nakshatras. Hence no nakshatras in navamsha. Hope it will help..

I have saturn in shatabhisha and has not faced any numbness to my hands whatsoever

I really believe houses and aspects impact aswell! Like i have Saturn in Sattabhisha nakshatra 5th house, and sometimes i do get numbness in hands. especially when i wake up and my hand falls asleep. I have also had sciatic pain shoot from my foot all the way up to my lower back. I think that is more of a nerve thing which is mercury and i have mercury in 12th house and that is 8th from 5th house saturn. Mercury is in Hasta nakshatra which is the hand.
