Gringo is a spanish meaning 'foriegner' so in relation to the video he was trying to mean he is a foriegner and it was obvious form the way he was indroduced, and in the middle of the song he was telling us who he is. At the ending he also show how he came to take over by bringing down the snake eye making him the most powerful man in the town. This is how i understood the video and how it related to the song.

i might be late but the idea of the video was very simple. "Gringo" in Spanish means "foreigner". He wasn't really accepted as Bandana back in the days, so his rebranding kind of motivated the title. Now, Snake Eye from the video represents Samini, the widely acclaimed dancehall king in ghana Jasmine was a representation for Dancehall, which is to say Samini wasn't treating dancehall right, as seen from the video. The whole idea of the video seeks to suggest that Shatta Wale came back to snatch Dancehall from Samini (the execution) the limping guy is a representation for nemesis, Stonebwoy(who used to limp, due to an accident from his childhood). the video again suggests that stonebwoy pretends to be the successor after Shatta Executes and takes Dancehall away with him. It's kind of " the reality" back at home.

He kills the villain(top Shatta) Of The town which is supposed to imitate the Ghanaian music industry n became the top Boss which he is now. That’s the meaning of the video. Actually that song is the intro of his new album coming, meaning he came from nowhere and conker the Ghanaian music industry, this is deep and is only if u are Ghanaian then you can understand this, when he was coming nobody help because his style of music is not the Ghanaian type. So the guy who said he did not get the link between the song and the video, now get it, Dancehall is the kind of music he dose and in the video u clearly see that he was a strenger from nowhere, came and took over. My advice to you guys is anytime u are doing reacting to any song, do research about the song first, but all good job.

I was kind of upset when I watched this video first because I really love tune and i felt the song was too short but he explained later that it's an intro to his album or something,so yeah basically that's the reason.
